Ulster GAA Winter Coach Development Programme Title—-Creating The Environment for Skill Development/Building The Skills/Key Coaching Points Presenter—-Roger Keenan Venue—-Armagh Harps GAC Date—--Monday 8th December Time----7.00pm Roger is a member of the St Patricks club in Gortin. He captained his club to their only Senior County Final appearance in 1985 and went on to represent Tyrone at senior level. While at Queens he won a Ryan Cup medal in 1983. He won an Intermediate Championship with his club in 1989 and later managed them to a 2nd title in 2003. In 2005 he managed Carrickmore to back to back senior titles and U-21 Championship. Responsible for Coach Development in Ulster and is currently the Tyrone Coaching Officer. This Outdoor Observation Session will focus on Developing Skilled Players Key Areas such as: Creating a positive learning environment. Kicking (Repetition) Bi-Lateral Focus Understanding the Key Coaching Points. How Game Intensity sharpens the Skills.
