PALEFACE SWISS Announce Headline Tour Across Australia!

Switzerland’s global reputation for being a peaceful and neutral country is in absolute tatters thanks to one band destroying all before them!

A lot has happened since PALEFACE SWISS' incredibly successful, sold-out run with In Hearts Wake in 2024. Their fan base has exploded exponentially thanks to their now infamous sets at festivals such as Sick New World and the accolades are piling up for their crushing performances on sold out tours of Europe and The U.S.

Now the Swiss wrecking crew return to Australia as all conquering headliners, armed with their brand-new record, Cursed, which entered the Spotify Global Charts at #7, as well as reaching #3 in both the US and UK charts—a testament to their unstoppable rise.

Joining this already monstrous tour is notorious German Deathcore/Beatdown outfit NASTY, who have been aptly self described as "F*cked up music for a F*cked up World’’. With a fierce reputation for volatile live shows, relentless energy and brutal sound, Nasty are a force to behold.

"Nasty have established themselves as one of the breakdown greats. There is no doubting who these guys are or what they want to do; make you lose your shit in the pit. Grab some space and get ready to thrash!" - Metal Zenith

PALEFACE SWISS + NASTY
LION ARTS FACTORY | WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3RD

Ahead of their eagerly anticipated second album Sex Ed out August 22 via ABC Music, Melbourne’s self-professed “bogan funk” outfit Playlunch have announced their national tour in celebration of the record.

The run of shows will see the rapidly rising seven-piece bring their joyful, cheeky, and undeniably funky live show to venues across the country this September, playing their biggest headline shows to date in Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, and Sydney, before bringing it home to Melbourne.

“We’re so pumped to celebrate this new album we’ve worked crazy hard on for the past year,” say Playlunch. “It’s absolutely bananas to us how much love, support and dedication our fans continue to give us, and this tour is a celebration of our commitment back to you guys. We’re going to bring it.

“These shows will not only be in these crazy surreal venues, but will also be the biggest Playlunch show you’ll have ever seen - packed full of surprises and with the best production value we can possibly cram into the shows. We’ll be playing a whole heap of these new tracks live for the very first time (can’t wait to show you!), as well as all the favs from our debut album.”

Joining Playlunch on tour is Brisbane-based duo JUNO, who have been making waves in the Australian live circuit with their irresistible blend of alt-pop.

“We’re so excited to be having the insanely talented JUNO along for the whole tour with us. We first met them at BIGSOUND in Brisbane last year and couldn’t have been more impressed with their show. Everyone is in for an absolute treat, with a night of nonstop dancing and singing across the whole lineups!”

With an infectious catalogue of genre-blending tracks covering nostalgic and distinctly Aussie themes like school athletics days, Blue Light Discos, and the peculiar world of daytime TV on a sick day, Playlunch’s upcoming tour promises audiences a sense of euphoric escapism and unabashed joy. Pack your schoolbags and grab your Yu-Gi-Oh! cards for childhood nostalgia’s night of nights, coming to a city near you.

PLAYLUNCH THE 'SEX ED' ALBUM TOUR

LION ARTS FACTORY | FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5TH

letlive. is returning.

The trailblazing progressive soul punk outfit from Los Angeles, California,

known for their genre-defying sound and raw intensity, is again stepping onto the stage

Formed in 2002, letlive. quickly established themselves as one of the most energetic and

emotionally charged acts in the alternative music scene. Fronted by the dynamic and

impassioned Jason Aalon Butler, the band blended elements of hardcore, punk, R&B, and

soul to create a unique sonic identity that resonated with fans worldwide.

Their breakout album, Fake History (2010), gained critical acclaim for its raw emotion and

innovative sound, earning them a dedicated following. This success led to their signing with

Epitaph Records, where they released two more groundbreaking albums: The Blackest

Beautiful (2013) and If I'm the Devil... (2016). Both records showcased the band’s evolution,

tackling social justice, personal struggle, and self-discovery themes with unrelenting honesty and creativity.

Known for their legendary live performances, letlive. became a force of nature on stage, with

shows described as chaotic yet cathartic experiences. Is ready to return, reignited by founding members Jean Nascimento (guitar) and

Jeff Sahyoun (guitar). Tickets will be available Tuesday February 25 at 9am local time via Destroy All Lines, early bird presale available this Friday.

Since their debut album 'A Lesson In Romantics' was released in 2007, Mayday Parade were quick to create a groundswell and become one of the most iconic cult classics in the scene spawning seven studio albums including hits Jamie All Over, Miserable At Best and Kids in Love and Stay to name just a few.

The band recently announced plans for a three-part album project, with the first instalment 'Sweet' dropping this April, marking their eighth and latest chapter in the long history of the band, who have two decades of playing and releasing music together under their belts. Such longevity is a feat in and of itself, and one the band doesn’t take for granted. "I think a large part of why we are all still here is that we have been friends most of our lives, even before the band,” says the band. “This is everyone’s full time job and passion. We all love playing music, so the fire is still alive. We have created something important to us and it’s imperative that we maintain it by giving it the requisite attention."

Jack's mannequin, the brainchild of Andrew McMahon, make their long-awaited return to Australia after 15 years! Also preparing to celebrate their 20th anniversary, the highly adored SoCal band previously reunited for only a handful of special occasions. The alternative pop rock group released a total of three acclaimed studio albums, with both their sophomore LP 'The Glass Passenger' (2008) and third and final album 'People and Things' (2011).

The Home Team are travelling to Australia for the second time for the 'Three Cheers For 20 Years' tour, after crossing the ocean last May with Caskets (UK). The quartet have introduced stylings of R&B, pop and funk into their music in an effort to be true to their tastes while crafting their unique sound and return to play new songs for the first time off their latest album 'The Crucible Of Life'.
