Indoor GoGames Hurling for u9-u14 Age levels Ulster GAA will be running 10 Provincial Indoor Hurling events: Sat 31st January: Morning – U12 (2014s) Sat 31st January: Afternoon – U12.5 (Year 8) Sat 8th February: Morning - U10 (2016s) Sat 8th February: Afternoon - U10.5 (p6 / 5th class) Sat 14th February: Morning – u13 (2013s) Sat 14th February: Afternoon – u14 (2012s) Sat 21st February: Morning – U9 (2017s) Sat 21st February: Afternoon – U9.5 (p5 / 4th class) Sat 28th February: Morning – U11 (2015s) Sat 28th February: Afternoon – U11.5 (p7 / 6th class) Please note: Age grade as of 1st January 2026. There will be two event slots on each date to increase game time and number of teams entering. The age grades are set to cover the breakdown of club activity in all Ulster counties. **Morning Slot Blitzes start at 11:45am and Finish sharp at 1:30pm** **Afternoon Slot Blitzes Start at 1:15pm and Finish sharp at 3pm** We are limited to 12 teams per slot. So we ask teams who are certain they will attend to register. Only teams who have Pre Register & Prepaid will be able to participate, we will be operating on a first come first served basis. Please note a Club can only enter 1 team to each day Please make sure and book into the right date for the right age grade. If you have any issues or queries, please contact kevin.kelly.ulster@gaa.ie Rules · All games are 9v9, but if a team is only able to play 7v7 then match them. If agreeable play 8v8, but no more than 9v9 as it’s too clustered. · The ball will be live at all times unless there is a score, no line balls and no wide ball. · Goals and Points count. Cannot score direct from Puc Outs. · All games are 7 minutes straight (depending on Numbers and Time). Teams who delay their start time because of "team talks" only lose out on their own playing time. · All games use the Quick/ Smart Touch Sliotar · Full Hurling Rules, except all frees conceded in your defensive end of the pitch result in a 20m penalty (1v1) against the fouling team (To stop lazy, cynical fouling), note the defending Goalie must stay on line for the penalties Underage Non-negotiables · No Managers or subs allowed in the playing area during or before games, only players starting · No warm ups on the pitch, games must start on time, so please sort your team out before the previous game is finished. · If players behaviour is not good, they must be replaced by another player or team will have to play with a player less. · If Teams/ mentors behaviour is not good, they will forfeit all there remaining games.
