Over the past few years, the San Francisco–based DJ & producer duo have carved out a singular space in contemporary club music, reframing Indian-laced house and UK bass through a distinctly South Asian lens. Their sound functions as a cultural mosaic, connecting the physicality of global sound system traditions with the forward momentum of modern club music.

While studying Dek Bass — music made for West Bengal sound systems — the extremity and raw force of the sound left a lasting impression. That influence now sits at the core of Baalti’s work: bass-heavy, groove-driven and rhythmically dense, reimagining familiar found sounds into abstract, floor-ready forms. There’s an organic looseness to their productions, an unassuming rawness that lets rhythm lead and culture speak without overstatement. Functional yet emotional, rooted yet restless.

Their latest EP, Mela (2025), released via Steel City Dance Discs, takes its name from the Hindi word for “festival” — a place of gathering. The record distils Baalti’s ethos: communal energy, percussive movement and an openness that invites connection on the dancefloor. It follows a growing catalogue of standout releases that have earned co-signs from Ahadadream, Nikki Nair, DJ ADHD, Chloé Robinson, TSVI, Tom VR, Maribou State, Jamz Supernova and Sarah Story.

Baalti’s rise has been mirrored across stages and airwaves worldwide. Festival appearances at Glastonbury, Dialled In and MELT have sat alongside sets on NTS, Rinse FM, The Lot Radio, Beats In Space, Kiosk Radio and Refuge Worldwide. In 2025, they supported Disclosure on their North American tour, shared stages with Four Tet, and continued to build community through their own event series, Baalti & Friends.

Known for their driving, high-impact sets, Baalti bring a vault of unreleased originals into every performance — many already familiar through constant ID requests. Their music is tactile and physical, shaped by sound systems and lived dancefloors, carrying a deep sense of shared experience.

Presented in collaboration with South Asian creative collective Kerfew, the tour is shaped with intention. The support lineups are carefully chosen to sit within Baalti’s world, amplifying its rhythm, weight and cultural resonance, so each night unfolds as a shared experience rather than a standalone moment.

With Mela as the foundation, Baalti’s Australian debut invites audiences into a space where bass, rhythm and cultural memory move together.

Fronted by Turin-born producer Andrea Tirone and his ever-stylish bandmate Roberto Conigliaro, Mind Enterprises sound like the closing credits to a film that never existed — synths gliding, drums hypnotic, basslines strutting like they’ve got somewhere important to be. It’s cinematic, playful, and a little bit absurd in all the right ways.

Tirone treats his collection of vintage synthesisers like sacred relics — each one with a distinct personality, a particular shimmer, a voice that tells its own story. Together with Roberto’s beat precise energy, they craft something that feels both familiar and fresh: the sound of Italo disco beamed into a new century.

Following a string of European shows, collaborations with Purple Disco Machine, The Magician, and a Kungs sample that took their track “Idol” to dancefloors worldwide, Mind Enterprises are heading to Australia and New Zealand for the first time this summer.

Expect something between a live show and a fever dream — It’s hot, it’s hypnotic, and it’s Italo — the kind of music that makes summer feel like it might just last forever.

TICKETING INFORMATION

Advertised set times are subject to change.
On Saturday 21 February 2026, Howler becomes the hive for Tijuana Cartel’s Bumblebee Tour, a night built for dancing, mastery over nylon strings and full-sensory immersion. Fresh off a run of standout festival appearances, the band brings their signature blend of hypnotic electronica, flamenco guitar lines, live trumpet, and rolling world-beat percussion—an ever-shifting sound designed to lift rooms into a collective sway.

For this Melbourne stop, they’re joined by two artists who share long-running ties to the Beat & Path family and the broader Chi Wow Wah community. The Oddness sets the tone with his unmistakable slow-burn alchemy of downtempo electronica, dub flavours and deep/progressive house—an artist whose sets stretch out like long exhalations, pulling dancers into deeper terrain track by track.

Adding another dimension to the evening is Dulce-Rueda, bringing warm, rhythmic energy and her distinctly Mexican sensibility to the lineup.

Expect rich & unique soundscapes, boutique beats, custom-built visuals, and a room full of people who like all these things —- all having a really freaking good time! Quite possibly be one of the most transportive shows you’ll attend this summer.

VENUE INFO

Shows are Standing unless clearly stated.
Since her move to the Catskills in 2018, Hannah Cohen hikes with her rescue dog Jan every day. In the woods, they witness the colour of change, the verdant resilience of softness and the necessary cycles of demise and vitality. It’s been five years since her last full length record and in that bubble of time, Cohen has learned the patience of her environment; to stay quiet until the noise starts to make sense. Her new collection of songs, Earthstar Mountain, is a keepsake of Cohen's time in the Catskills, built over the course of 2020-2024, as blurred, shimmering memories come into focus to produce a collage of echoes and sonic souvenirs. It’s a love letter to the Catskills but moreso, a love letter to the interconnectedness of all; in her past, present, future and alternative selves, in her friends––here and gone––and in the mountain that peers through her windows.

Her new album “Earthstar” prods at complexity, as Cohen highlights the risk of love and how you can never really know someone, even those closest to you. After moving to New York City in the early 2010s, he worked as house engineer at Brooklyn’s Figure 8 Recording Studios and formed the indie rock band Celestial Shore. Under his real name, he’s spent the past decade producing and engineering records for the likes of Big Thief, Cass McCombs, and Cassandra Jenkins, as well as Liam Kazar’s recently released debut LP.
