Grieg Cello Sonata, Op. 36 (1882)  Join us for an unforgettable evening of passion, elegance, and virtuosity as the Berlin Philharmonic’s principal cellist Bruno Delepelaire brings to life four masterworks of the Romantic repertoire alongside pianist Kim Barbier. Beethoven’s Cello Sonata No. 3 is a pivotal work between classical and romantic eras brimming with lyricism and strength. Faure’s two works are delicate, dreamy, and filled with French charm. The recital closes with Greig’s dramatic and rarely heard treasure of the cello repertoire.
