Ulster GAA ABC Workshops - Coach Education 'Coaching core skills and movement through games for 5 to 8yr olds ' This games-based fundamentals workshop is designed to ignite movement and fun for children aged 4–8, using playful activities that develop Agility, Balance, and Coordination (ABC), Running, Jumping, and Throwing (RJT), and Catching, Passing, Kicking, and Striking (CPKS). Through imaginative games and age-appropriate challenges, children build physical literacy in a way that feels like play—not practice. Every skill introduced is transferable across both hurling and football, laying a strong foundation for confident movement, teamwork, and game understanding. Whether swinging a hurley or kicking a ball, these sessions help young players grow in ability and enthusiasm, setting them up for success in any sport they choose.
