The 2nd Annual Battle of the Bands is a charity event benefiting After-School All-Stars North Texas (ASAS NTX). This event brings together five high school rock bands from across the DFW area to compete for the title of Battle of the Bands Champion. Each band will be judged in the areas of Musicality, Stage Presence, Vocal Performance, Originality, and Audience Engagement. Proceeds from ticket sales, sponsorships, and donations will directly support After-School All-Stars North Texas, a nonprofit organization that provides free after-school programs and mentoring for underserved middle school youth. The mission of ASAS NTX is to equip students with the skills, habits, and confidence needed to succeed in school, life, and future careers. The North Texas chapter currently serves six schools and reaches 600–800 students daily, offering programs such as drone club, cooking club, sports, visual arts, and other enrichment activities. Funds raised through Battle of the Bands will help sustain and expand these programs for youth throughout the DFW area.
