This partnership is poised to enchant traditional folk purists and new seekers alike, promising a fresh, exhilarating spin on folk music's timeless tales.  Lisa Knapp’s debut album 'Wild & Undaunted' in 2007 saw her emerge as a distinctive voice in British folk, becoming known for her captivating vocals and highly imaginative approach. Deeply rooted in the folk traditions of Britain and beyond, she also garnered a highly coveted BBC Radio 2 Folk Award for her songwriting on 'Hidden Seam'. Her 2017 release, 'Till April is Dead ~ A Garland of May', featuring Blur's Graham Coxon, now celebrated as a modern classic, is an exhilarating deep dive into historic songs and rituals of May. Recently, her voice graced the closing song of the Oscar- nominated film "Living" (2022). Aps part of the Hack Poets Guild with Marry Waterson and Nathaniel Mann, she's released 'Blackletter Garland' (One Little Independent 2023), showcasing her ongoing evolution and collaborative spirit in the folk scene. Gerry Diver, a visionary composer, producer, Irish fiddler, and multi- instrumentalist, has significantly impacted the folk scene. His innovative "Speech Project" featured folk icons like Christy Moore, Shane MacGowan, Martin Hayes, and others in a collaborative masterpiece described as 'groundbreaking' by The Guardian. Diver's role as an award-winning producer shines in his contributions to a host of contemporary folk albums. Diver has displayed his versatility by working with a broad spectrum of artists, including Damon Albarn, Sinéad O'Connor, Tom Robinson, Benjamin Zephaniah, and many others, showcasing his ability to transcend musical boundaries. His creative prowess extends to the cinematic and television realms, where he has written soundtracks for various movie scores and BBC dramas, further establishing his reputation as a multi-faceted artist.

Dave Clancy releases his second album, Live Our Own Dream on April 25th. Building on his debut album The Path (2020), Dave continues to craft deeply resonant folk music, blending rich storytelling with evocative melodies. Dave is a versatile musician whose songs and finger-style guitar playing combine the acoustic folk of Nick Drake while maintaining strong links to the Irish folk tradition. Adding to the guitar and vocal foundation of the songs Dave uses his multi-instrumental skills adding piano, organ, synth and pedal steel guitar. Guest musicians include Eoin Wynne (The Half Room) on (vocals, banjo and guitar), Conor McCreanor (Foy Vance, Gretchen Peters ) on bass, Eamon Murray (Beoga) on drums, Fergal Scahill on fiddle, Nicola Joyce (The Whileaways, The Half Room) on vocals, Maria Ryan(Stung) on strings and Matthew Berrill on clarinets and saxaphones. The album is engineered and co-produced by Eamon Brady and Liam Caffrey.

Inspired by their individual diverse musical backgrounds, 3 on the Bund blends tradition with innovation. Their complex layered arrangements consist of both traditional and newly composed material which is played with an energy and passion that is completely authentic. Founded in 2019, 3 on the Bund came together through the Irish World Academy at the University of Limerick and “rapidly went from unknown to hot property” (Folk World) Impressively managing to record, produce, and release their debut album ‘Frenzy’ during the Covid-19 pandemic, this band have been going from strength to strength within the Irish traditional music scene and are in high demand. As individuals, all are award-winning and accomplished performers with experience touring worldwide. Each has graduated with a first-class honours degree in Irish traditional music from the University of Limerick. As a group, they have already travelled to the UK, the US and Asia, and have toured extensively across Ireland, Germany and several other European countries. In April 2022, they headlined the Irish Heartbeat Festival tour, a month-long tour across Germany and Switzerland. In 2023, they performed to sold-out crowds at Germany’s Rheingau Musik Festival and Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, and later that same year, they headlined the month-long Guinness Irish Christmas tour across Austria. 2024 was also a big year for 3 on the Bund. In April, they embarked on their first solo tour of Germany, as part of Zeitgeist Irland 24, an initiative of Culture Ireland and the Embassy of Ireland in Germany. In October, they headlined the six-week-long Irish Folk Festival tour of Germany in October / November. The band are also currently working on their second album.

The Bluetones first came to prominence in 1995, when their debut release ‘Are You Blue Or Are You Blind’ broke into the Top 40. The single proved to be the launching pad for a run that saw 14 hit singles and 6 albums follow on from it. From thereon, the band, made up of brothers Mark & Scott Morriss alongside Adam Devlin and Eds Chesters, enjoyed considerable UK and Ireland successes, extending out across into Europe and Japan, before taking a hiatus in 2011 that lasted for 4 years. Since then they have re-established themselves as one of the UK’s most consistently entertaining live acts, regularly touring their extensive catalogue to their army of devoted fans. 2024 will see the release of the first new Bluetones material in 14 years, and promises to be as exciting a year for the group as they’ve ever enjoyed.
