Our Rugby Camps are designed to ignite a love for the game in young athletes while helping them grow both on and off the pitch. Through our expertly crafted programmes, we aim to: INSPIRE young players to set high standards for themselves and continually strive to improve. CREATE an engaging and memorable rugby experience. SUPPORT personal and athletic development through structured, age-appropriate coaching. BUILD key life skills such as leadership, resilience, and teamwork. A Gloucester Rugby Masterclass combines high-quality coaching, high-quality facilities and a holistic development approach to develop every player. Our Player Development Masterclasses across the season involve a Preseason Camp, In-Season day (PRO) and evening (LITE) Camps, and a Transition Camp (Residential). Over the course of the season, we deliver: On field skills: Games-based coaching Fundamental skill development Positional skill development Tactical understanding aligned to Gloucester Rugby Academy Game Model Off field skills: Athletic development coaching Athletic Ability Assessment (AAA) Performance analysis supporting on-field activity Individual Development Plan (IDP) constructed with Academy coaches Leadership skills (e.g., leading a huddle, breathwork, reflection) Our camps are led by a trusted and experienced team of Gloucester Rugby coaching staff, committed to making each camp an exciting and enriching experience. All coaches hold a minimum England Rugby Coaching Award qualification and are fully DBS-checked. Every camp also includes fully qualified First Aiders and designated Safeguarding Leads to ensure a safe environment for all players.

Rugby Camp (Mixed) at Longlevens RFC
Event Information
DEVELOP Rugby Camp Experience the local sports facilities at Longlevens RFC, meet the coaches, learn new skills and develop yourself, whilst having fun, with friends and other rugby lovers. What's not to like!? Our development camps are perfect for those who are passionate about rugby and are eager to develop their skills, learn new knowledge and have a fantastic rugby-filled day! A typical one-day development camp consists of a carousel of activities, including: Welcome & Icebreaker Activities Activation & Warm-up Games Catch and Pass Managing the Breakdown Contact Skills Invasion Games Team Challenges and Games We normally finish the day with a competition to get the participants practicing their new learned skills and to promote team celebration and camaraderie. The camps are designed for girls and boys of all abilities aged between 10 and 15 years old. The minis (10 year olds) will run as a mixed camp, whilst the under 12's, under 14's and under 16's will be split into a boys and girls camp, running alongside each other to ensure they get the most out of the day. Everyone will come together at lunchtime. For every ticket purchased £5 will go directly to Longlevens RFC as part of our community club give back scheme. TAG Rugby Camp at Longlevens RFC

TRY TAG Mixed Camp Our TRY TAG camp is aimed at boys and girls in KS1 (ages 4–6) and KS2 (ages 7–10) who want to try something new. Everyone should have the opportunity to live healthy and active lives, so our TRY TAG camp offers the chance to inform and inspire young people to fall in love with rugby, physical activity, and creative play, all whilst having fun. A day in the life of a TRY TAG camp consists of fun games, drills, educational elements and challenges incorporating a range of sports, most notably TAG rugby! Alongside this, children will also enjoy non-rugby based creative activities and contact-free fun, ensuring there is something for everyone. With plenty of activities on offer, and specialised primary coaches, it is the perfect way to spend the day with friends or meeting new people. It is also well suited to those who are just starting their rugby journey and are learning to love the game. The camps are designed for boys and girls of all abilities. Participants will be split into age-appropriate groups (KS1 and KS2) to ensure they get the most out of the day, before all coming together at lunchtime.
