Don’t miss The Vet Student Network LIVE – a dynamic, in-person workshop designed to support, inspire, and guide you on your journey to vet school!  This interactive event offers a unique opportunity to: ✨ Get insider tips on vet school applications 🎤 Hear from current vet students and professionals 🤝 Connect with like-minded aspiring vets 📚 Access exclusive resources and mentorship opportunities Whether you're just starting to explore the field or are already preparing your application, this event is tailored to help you take the next step with confidence. 🗓 Event Schedule – The Vet Student Network LIVE 10:00 - 10:30 AM: Welcome – Breakfast & Coffee Kick off the day with a warm welcome and a chance to meet fellow future vets over breakfast and coffee. 10:30 - 11:00 AM: Introduction – Icebreakers & Finding Your “Why” Get comfortable and discover what drives your passion for veterinary medicine. 11:00 - 12:00 PM: Work Experience Tips & Tricks + Q&A Learn how to stand out with your work experience and hear real-life advice from those who’ve been there. 12:00 - 1:00 PM: Lunch Break A relaxed hour to refuel and connect with others. 1:00 - 1:45 PM: Personal Statement Writing – Workshop Hands-on guidance to help you craft a compelling, authentic personal statement. 1:45 - 2:00 PM: Break – Stretch Your Legs / Chat A quick 10–15-minute breather before diving back in. 2:00 - 3:00 PM: Mock Interviews – Preparing for Success Get interview-ready with practical tips and mini mock interview sessions. 3:00 - 4:00 PM: Ask a Vet Student – Panel Q&A Wrap up the day with an honest, open Q&A with current vet students. Ask anything – we’re here to help! Travelling to the Venue: ** please note – there will not be parking available on site **  Tube/Underground stations Holborn (Piccadilly and Central lines) - on the corner of Kingsway and High Holborn. Approximately five minutes away. Temple (District and Circle lines) - on the Embankment at the bottom of Arundel Street. Approximately five minutes away. Charing Cross (Jubilee, Northern and Bakerloo lines) - on the Strand at the Trafalgar Square end. Approximately ten minutes away. National rail stations Waterloo - other side of the River from the Strand over Waterloo Bridge. Approximately 10-15 minutes away. Trains to and from the south coast and south west of England. Charing Cross - on the Strand at the Trafalgar Square end. Approximately 10 minutes away. Trains mainly to south east London and into Kent. Blackfriars - on the Embankment near Blackfriars Bridge. Approximately 10 -15 minutes away. Trains mainly to south London and south east England but also the Thameslink line through north London.  St Pancras International - on Euston Road, close to King's Cross mainline station. Take the Piccadilly Line from King's Cross to Holborn, from where it is a 5 minutes away (see 'Holborn' above). Serves the Eurostar and trains to the Midlands. Buses that stop on or near Aldwych are numbers: 1, 9, 15, 23, 26, 59, 68, 76, 87, 91, 172, 188, 243, 341 and SL6. FAQs: Can I bring a parent / caregiver along? – Yes, of course! Please do let me know before the event if you plan to bring someone extra along so we can make sure we cater for them on the day.  Do I need to print my tickets, or can I show it on my phone? – You can show your ticket on your phone on the door.  Will food & drink be provided? – Yes, you will be provided with lunch & refreshments on the day.  Is there a dress code? – Nope, come however you feel most comfortable.  I can’t wait to see you all there!
