Reiki 1 (Healing Self and Others) is a beginners class that teaches the basics of what Reiki is, how to use the energies, and all considerations therein. In a Reiki 1 class, the student is taught what Reiki is, the history of Reiki, Reiki ideals, proper healing practices, how to transfer the universal energy into themselves, and then into others for healing purposes. Self healing and healing others are the main focuses for this class. Other information presented includes non-Reiki basic energy exercises (opening the chakras, grounding, shielding, centering) and all things a Reiki practitioner should be concerned with. Florida Board of Massage Approved for six (6) Continuing Education Hours (CEUs) Class must be paid for at least 2 days before the class date See the website for cancellation policies.
