<p>American synthwave duo The Midnight have announced their Time Machines Australian headline tour for this January/February 2026.</p><p>The band that emerged over a decade ago out of Los Angeles celebrate their fifth studio album &lsquo;Syndicate&rsquo; (released earlier this month) - their most ambitious and outward-looking work yet. &lsquo;Syndicate&rsquo; evolves The Midnight&rsquo;s simultaneously retro and forward-looking sound while cementing the band&rsquo;s status as perhaps the most musically and lyrically ambitious act to come out of the burgeoning synthwave scene</p><p><br></p><p>The Midnight&rsquo;s Australian tour will commence on Thursday 29 January at The Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane, followed by the Forum in Melbourne on Saturday 31 January, and concluding in Sydney on Sunday 1 February at Roundhouse.</p><p>General public tickets go on sale on Monday 3 November at 12pm.&nbsp;</p><p>A Secret Sounds presale will commence on Friday 31 October at 11am, and conclude on Monday 3 November at 11am.</p>
