<p>Nashville based singer-songwriter <strong>Sydney Rose</strong> Brings the I Know What I Want Tour to Australia in March 2026</p><p><br>From her early days of recording raw acoustic covers and demos, Sydney Rose has gained popularity through her poignant lyrics and soulful voice, as seen in her debut EP "You Never Met Me." She rose to fame with covers on TikTok, including "Home" by Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros and "Turning Page" by Sleeping At Last, which amassed millions of streams. Her music often explores themes of loneliness and self-discovery, resonating deeply with listeners. <p>After a successful debut tour of Australia in 2024, English folk singer-songwriter and guitarist <strong>BLANCO WHITE</strong> has today announced his return to Australia in March 2026.</p><p>Blanco White is the project of Josh Edwards. The choice of name was inspired by Spanish writer, José Maria Blanco White. Originally from London, Josh went on a trip to Latin America as a young kid aged 10 that began a fascination with the Spanish speaking world. Reading Spanish at University, he later lived in Cádiz where he studied flamenco guitar under the guidance of Nono Garcia, before travelling to Sucre to learn the Andean instrument the charango. Both instruments became centrepieces in the songwriting and otherworldly sound of Blanco White.</p><p>The identity of the project has continuously evolved since Blanco White’s first releases in 2016, but a reverence for language, the surreal and musical curiosity has been ever-present. He had already crafted a sound of his own with his off-world explorations of Latin American and Andalusian folk music, but on his second solo album, Tarifa, he mines new depth with his colourful fusions of folk with indie and electronics, while embracing the thrill of collaboration, discovery, and cultural exchange.After a health issue that started in 2020, Josh spent his healing period staying connected with music by consuming as many audio podcasts, stories, and books as he could. Unable to play or write, he tried to educate himself instead, diving more deeply into production and engineering. The knowledge gained became hugely important in helping evolve his sound.</p>
