EXTRA DATE ADDED AFTER FIRST DATE SOLD OUT VIA PRE-SALE. A second date has been added as Hector Gannet return to Cluny 2, making it two consecutive early New Year shows to celebrate the release of a new single from their forthcoming album due in spring 2026. Currently employing a brass section as seen recently at Durham Brass Festival, and at their sold-out headline show at the 550 capacity Exchange venue in North Shields, they will perform songs from their forthcoming album plus some reworks of tracks from the previous two albums, ..and maybe a surprise or two! In 2025 they supported Sam Fender for the second time at St James Park, and were special guests with Elbow at Mouth of The Tyne festival. Their recent single The Jetty’s End was announced as ‘track of the week’ on BBC Introducing North East, with a review in The Most Radicalist declaring “the North-eastern collective have created a sweeping, hymn-like piece that folds church bells, brass and a youth choir into their rugged folk-rock DNA.” Whilst a reviewer at ‘The Ginger Quiff’ went as far as to say - “While the rest of the world swoons over Sam Fender as the North East’s answer to Springsteen, I’d much rather revel in the indie-folk of Hector Gannet, more akin to Martin Stephenson than Springsteen, The Jetty’s End is both gloriously joyful and emotionally taut, the closing section of the song is as life-affirming as it gets.” The initial show sold out to the Hector Gannet mailing list, and with the band having completed previous tour dates in England and Scotland with Sam Fender and with Sea Power, plus support slots with various other well-known artists such as Lindisfarne, Kathryn Williams, Peter Doherty and Richard Thompson, early booking for this second show is highly recommended. This event is 16 and over. Any ticket holder unable to present valid identification indicating that they are at least 16 years of age will not be admitted to this event, and will not be eligible for a refund.

What does it mean to be from the South today? To try to reconcile the struggles and possibilities of Southern experience through songs, through words? Is it worth it? Are there secrets still worth revealing? Fust––the lyrical powerhouse Southern rock band from Durham, North Carolina––have made these questions the heart of their work and, more than ever before, it is the drama at play on their new record Big Ugly. Fust joins a long tradition of artists that have tried to present life in the dirty South, from the lived-in short stories of Breece and Ann Pancake to the traditional record-keeping of John Jacob Niles to the southern rock historicism of Drive-By Truckers. For these artists and for Fust, making sense of the South is a necessity because history is what hurts and in the words of Hemingway, our call is to “write hard and clear, about what hurts.” This event is 16 and over. It is nothing short of criminal, that Nick Harper is one the UK’s best kept musical secrets. Those who have witnessed the spellbinding, one-man show will tell you this. A childhood growing up surrounded by the musical prowess of some of the 60’s most revered songwriters & musicians, not to mention being son of Roy Harper, along with 20 years of crafting songs & touring the land has spawned a truly one-off, original guitarist & songwriter who stands alone as a UK great, to be cherished & revered. Following a prolific creative chapter that has seen three studio releases since 2020, Nick returns to the setting of his father's living room in a small flat in Kilburn, London in the mid 1960s '58 Fordwych Rd.'. The flat was an after hours hang-out for the legends who played at Les Cousins in Soho at the height of the acoustic explosion in swingin’ sixties London. People like Bert Jansch, Davy Graham, John Renbourn, Paul Simon, Marc Bolan, Sandy Denny & others dropped in, to drop out, jam & try new tunes. But, all along, there was someone else there... a toddler, part of the family, inhaling the music & absorbing the vibe; Roy’s young son, Nick Harper. Many moons later, Nick invited these acoustic legends back into the room and toured this unique story to ecstatic receptions across the UK and Ireland. Wary to not just entertain as a tribute, the craftsmanship and care of the repertoire Nick was handling was beyond tribute, Nick applying his own twists and deft performance swagger that only those who’ve earned their stripes possess. During a week-long residency at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where the show picked up an EDFringe Award for best music, ‘58 Fordwych Rd.’ was recorded, capturing Nick at the height of performance prowess..
