Insecure Men

Wed, Feb 4 at 7:30 PM
Cluny 2

Event Information

Saul Adamczewski, co-founder of Fat White Family and frontman of Insecure Men, endured a harrowing personal collapse in 2024, spending months in a cupboard in Tulse Hill amid severe psychosis and opioid addiction. After calling his mother and undergoing withdrawal, he began rebuilding his life, reconnecting with family and bandmates. This recovery led to A Man For All Seasons, the second Insecure Men album and a creative rebirth. Recorded in the spring of 2025, the album reflects Adamczewski’s shift toward collaboration, with a band lineup including Marley Mackay, Victor Jakeman, Fat White Family’s Alex White and Steely Dan Monte. Thematically, the album confronts heartbreak, mental illness, and addiction, blending melancholic country influences with lush, narcotic lounge-pop textures. Tracks like ‘Time Is A Healer’ channel raw emotion, while songs like ‘Alien’ and ‘Cleaning Bricks’ showcase the album’s more junkshop pop instincts. Rooted in Adamczewski’s country-infused upbringing, the album carries the ghostly, submerged sonic identity familiar from the first Insecure Men release, yet it feels more communal and mature. His songwriting is both confessional and escapist, offering solace and catharsis. Beyond this release, Adamczewski plans a Memphis-recorded country album, a dub project, and continues to explore folk and experimental forms, all in search of truth and healing through music. From near-total collapse to creative revival, Adamczewski’s journey is both cautionary and redemptive—one that   that reaffirms his role as one of Britain’s most singular and enduring musical voices. Wandering Oak presents Stealing Sheep

Thu, Feb 5 at 7:30 PM
Cluny 2

Event Information

Stealing Sheep - The Avant-Pop Rebels You Should Have Been Listening To All Along You might have stumbled across Stealing Sheep before—maybe their debut single ‘Shut Eye’ snuck into your feed as a rogue viral meme, lurking in the obscure corners of YouTube and TikTok. But if you haven't been paying attention, now’s the time. Hailing from Liverpool, UK, this girl band of Becky, Emily, and Lucy have spent the last 15 years carving out their own lane—one that the mainstream might have overlooked, but the gamer, cosplay, and online Therian communities have championed through fan art and deep-cut devotion. Their self-described ‘visual pop’ might not have topped the charts, but it’s fuelled a dedicated cult following (shoutout to the 6 Music dads keeping the faith). Now, they’re back with new music, marking a bold new chapter. Produced by Joe Wills at Nan’s House Studio (inside the ever-eccentric Invisible Wind Factory venue), this record fuses medieval electronic pop, rave pop, UK garage, and PC music into a sonic world that’s both otherworldly and unapologetically DIY. Stealing Sheep have always made music for themselves—but their latest releases makes it clear: it’s time the rest of us caught up. Stay tuned. This event is 16 and over. Any ticket holder unable to present valid identification indicating that they are at least 16 years of age will not be admitted to this event, and will not be eligible for a refund.

The award-winning and critically acclaimed blues artist from Liverpool has opened for the likes of Ringo Starr, Sir Van Morrison, Jeff Beck, Johnny Winter, Walter Trout and recently Status Quo.  After Joining Buddy Guy on stage to jam and experience the blues first hand, Buddy remarked "He’s like a young Eric Clapton" and that pretty much says it all. Raised on the classical guitar and achieved Grade 8 Distinction at the age of 18, he now combines his musical heritage with the energy of the blues-rock that made him famous. Laurence Jones has built up a loyal fan base throughout The UK and Europe, signing his first record deal at just 17, gaining him many awards and accolades with his critically acclaimed blues album ‘Thunder In The Sky’ in 2012. Despite his health challenges, Jones continues to add to a career that already includes multiple British Blues Awards, over 50,000 albums sold worldwide, #1 album in the Official UK Jazz & Blues chart. This time, however, the focus is less on charts and accolades and more on telling his story through stripped-down, heartfelt blues. “There are many singer-songwriters recording and performing but not many as accomplished as Laurence Jones” - BLUES IN BRITAIN  Music Radar voted Laurence ‘one of the world's TOP 10 blues-rock guitarists’ ‘Laurence Jones is an inspiration to many - Blues Rock Review  Amy Eftekhari (support) The opening act is Amy Eftekhari, a singer-songwriter from Nottingham and life partner of Laurence Jones. Amy is known for her emotional and honest approach to songwriting. Her music combines vulnerability with strength and authenticity. On her debut EP, "All the Words," Amy Eftekhari naturally brings these qualities together. ‘What a beautiful voice’ - Aled Jones

Sun, Feb 8 at 7:30 PM
Cluny 2

Event Information

Transatlantic singer-songwriter Ilana Zsigmond AKA St. Catherine’s Child, is one of the rising stars of the Indie Folk/Americana scene. She has played to entranced audiences both in the USA and UK. Having had interest from labels and publishers from both the UK and USA, she signed to TRO Essex Music and Shamus Records in New York. She was excited to sign to a company which holds the publishing for the Woody Guthrie archive, original David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath and T Rex catalogue, along with breakthrough artists such as Flamy Grant and The Pairs. Born in England to musical parents, Ilana spent the majority of her childhood in New Haven, Connecticut, bouncing back and forth between continents as her parents toured. After settling back in the UK in 2015, she has formed a band that reflects the Americana aesthetic that surrounded her throughout her childhood with the articulation and dry wit of her British sensibilities. Named after the patron saint of eloquent women, her vocal strength and poetic songwriting shines at the heart of St. Catherine’s Child. This event is 16 and over. Slam Dunk Presents Trash Boat

Mon, Feb 9 at 7:30 PM
Cluny 2

Event Information

Anyone paying attention to Trash Boat's indomitable ascent through alternative rock’s upper echelons will find little to surprise in their meteoric rise. The band’s preceding third album, 2021’s Don’t You Feel Amazing?, elevated the quintet to the cover of esteemed tastemaker publications including Kerrang! and Upset, racking up 19m global streams off the back of key editorial playlist looks fronting Spotify’s The Rock List and Amazon’s Rock Scene. But more so, it served to shatter the constrained box into which expectation of the band previously had neatly sat. The 2024 album ‘Heaven Can Wait’ boldly continues that journey of exploration, pushing boundaries and elevating the vision. It’s Trash Boat’s finest creative expression to date, too. Embrace the chaos.  Having toured extensively across the UK, the US and Europe with everyone from Enter Shikari to Don Broco, recent singles ‘Be Someone’ with I Prevail’s Eric Vanlerberghe and ‘filthy/RIGHTEOUS’ ft. Kenta Koi of Crossfaith have seen the band returning on truly exceptional form. This event is 16 and over. Thu, Feb 12 at 7:30 PM
Cluny 2

Event Information

Step into the magnetic, passionate world of Lynne Jackaman, where her Amazon #1 critically acclaimed debut album One Shot stands as a seismic testament to her musical prowess and life’s unfiltered stories. Recorded at the iconic FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, One Shot showcases Jackaman’s powerhouse vocals and raw emotion, profoundly expressing a deeply personal narrative backed by producer Jamie Evans and a league of musical legends: Spooner Oldham, whose musicality helped bring When A Man Loves A Woman and Mustang Sally to life; Marvin and Aretha’s keyboardist Clayton Ivey; Ray Charles’ bassist Bob Wray; Bonnie Raitt’s guitarist Will McFarlane; and The Shoals Sisters, bringing their vocal magic for everyone from Etta James to Alicia Keys. The result is a record that feels both timeless and immediate. With her gut-wrenching performances and a soulful depth that echoes beyond time, Jackaman’s music resonates not only with the musical legacies of the past but also with contemporaries like Brittany Howard, Michael Kiwanuka and Celeste, solidifying her place among both modern innovators and her spiritual predecessors. Busy working on her forthcoming release, Jackaman returns to the stage in February 2026 for a UK headline tour, bringing her music to life with the full fire of her band on stage.
