Known for his masterful banjo playing, he was born and raised in Toronto and now lives rurally on the south shore of Nova Scotia. </p><p dir="ltr" style="text-align: center;">With a storyteller’s heart, his narrative-driven songs are playful, coy and soul-warming; his music appeals to anyone looking for new growth from old roots. His 2024 album, ‘She Told Me Where to Go’ garnered wide critical acclaim and was awarded Best Folk Album at the East Coast Music Awards. </p><p dir="ltr" style="text-align: center;">‘She Told Me Where to Go’ is a journey through the darkness and light of mid-life. Alexander Flood

<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Alexander Flood </strong>is one of Australia’s commanding beat-masters, possessing a finessed arsenal of groove, power, and expertise on the drums. His unique sound and approach on the instrument has been crafted through the many years of study, training and dedication to music. Leading his band from the drum chair, Alex’s music pushes a fresh rhythmic and dynamic realm of live dance music leaning on nu-jazz, house, broken beat, DnB, funk and experimental sounds.
