The Sus Four + 'Kate & Tom'

Cult power pop band THE SUS FOUR are finally making their return to the stage with a one-off gig at the Engine Room in North Shields. Their signature sound is a blend of 70s and 90s melodic guitar rock- think Big Star and The Raspberries meets Weezer and Jellyfish. Fresh from recording their new album, get ready for a set of old favourites and new tunes- and a few surprises. Whether you’re an old school Fourhead or completely new to The Sus Four, this gig is not one to miss. Kate and Tom are a duo from Beverley, East Yorkshire who have known each other since they were four years old. Tom’s intricate, melodic piano lines accompany Kate’s stunning vocal and lyrics of love, death, heartbreak and dinner party conversations. This will be their first show, in which they will play material they have been working on since August 2025 when they reconvened after seventeen years and began writing together.

Dale Robinson's debut poetry show 'A Beautiful Sandwich' explores mining, motorbikes and the meaning of life with humour and heart. All proceeds from the event will be shared equally between children's education charity 'Fish for Life' and Ellington Colliery Brass Band
