World-class Chefs, innovative cuisine, a spectacular setting, reconnecting with friends, and the beauty of a summer evening by the Rideau Canal... The Chef's Table is a farm-to-table feast with menus curated by Canadian chefs and musical entertainment. Presented by the Ontario Festival of Small Halls, this year's series will run for two weekends in July and one weekend in September, in collaboration with the National Arts Centre's Resident Chefs Program. This multi-weekend event will once again showcase world-class chefs, and great live music, from the patio of the NAC's 1 Elgin Restaurant, by Ottawa’s gorgeous Rideau Canal. The 2025 Chef’s Table lineup will include some of the region's most celebrated musical acts and menus curated by Chef Kenton Leier (of the National Arts Centre), along with several of Canada's finest chefs. Celebrate a special occasion with a three-course meal from world-class chefs - or just enjoy reconnecting with your closest friends over food, music, and the beauty of a summer night by the Rideau Canal. Small group bookings accepted; tables of 2, 4, 6, and 8 available (must book entire table). Featured Chefs: Chef Amy Pelletier (KWEYcuisine); Kenton Leier (NAC) Chef Amy Pelletier Chef Amy Pelletier brings her culinary skills to the kitchen, and her passion for Indigenous and Acadian cuisine to her very own catering business, KWEYcuisine. Amy is a member of the Wolastoqiyik community of the Madawaska First Nation in Edmundston, New Brunswick, and she believes that good food has a way of bringing people together, and to create a dialogue between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. KWEY means ‘hello’ in the Wolastoqiyik language, and you can taste the warmth and welcome with every bite of KWEYcuisine. Amy started in 2017 with a two-year culinary arts program at CCNB in Edmundston, New Brunswick, which included a three-month stage working under the pastry chef Alexandre Didier in Normandy, France. When she returned home, she enrolled in a business start-up program. In early 2020 she started her catering company KWEYcuisine, and thanks to the support and encouragement she received from her surrounding Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities, she was able to grow her business, even during the pandemic. Now she shares her food and culture in workshops and presentations to different schools in the extended communities of north-west New Brunswick. In 2024, she was invited to present her own culinary creation at the International Indigenous Tourism Conference (ITAC) summit in Winnipeg. She currently sits on the board of the Indigenous Tourism Association of New Brunswick and has participated in several food festivals and competitions, including the St Andrews Indulge festival. Chef Kenton Leier Executive chef Kenton Leier brings enthusiasm, passion, and creativity to the kitchens at Canada’s National Arts Centre. His culinary philosophy relies on the use of sustainable and locally sourced ingredients of the highest quality, and letting their inherent qualities stand out in his dishes. Music: East Coast Experience (Trio) Since their formation in 2017, East Coast Experience has been gracing Canadian stages delivering high energy performances and selling out Tap Rooms, Concert Halls, and Music Festivals along the way. Winner of the Ottawa Faces 2024 People's Choice "Music Group of the Year", 2023 Capital Music Awards "New Artist of the Year", nominated for “Group of the Year 2023” by the Ottawa Music Industry Coalition and Folk / Roots Group of the Year 2022 by Music NL, this versatile group can set the tone for an up close, intimate performance or scale things up to entertain audiences in any type of venue. Influenced by many different genres of music, the Celtic Canadiana ensemble released their debut studio project titled “Home” in 2022 and a full length studio album titled "Aura" in 2025. Both projects take listeners on a musical journey with storytelling compositions influenced in the Celtic-Canadiana / Roots-Rock genre. In addition to their tasteful originals, the set list just wouldn’t be complete without including some Celtic, East Coast influenced crowd pleasers that perfectly compliment their own original music. Please note: All sales are final, there are no refunds, exchanges or reschedules. Set Menu. *Please indicate requests for any vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free meal choices during check-out, as well as any food allergies or restrictions.

This September 6th, Queering Aylmer returns with a bold new theme: White Lies—the party where your shirt says one thing, and your vibe says another. Throw on a plain white tee and confess your funniest, pettiest, most ironic fibs. “I’m a top.” “I don’t cry in the club.” “This isn’t a cry for help.” Bonus points if your lie is queer, chaotic, or wildly self-aware. Whether you’re lying to yourself or just lying for the plot, this is your night to dance it out and laugh with chosen family. ✨ What to expect A high-energy queer dance floor Drag DJ Arianna Exposé coming in hot with dancehall, hip hop.. Filled with many ups and downs, we experienced laughs, tears, drinks, smokes, late nights, early mornings, long drives, empty rooms and full arenas. Most importantly we experienced the pride of playing our own music for people. If you ever listened, shared, downloaded, bought tickets, bought merch, drove to see us. said hi to us, yelled our lyrics... Hell, if you have only ever heard our name, we would like to pay you back the only way we know howWeve got 3 shows left, see ya out there! presented with the support of presented by with the support of Ontario Creates, FACTOR and Beyond The Pale-----PLEASE NOTE: Vax and masks are no longer required, but masks are always encouraged.ENTRY REQUIREMENTS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE PENDING PROVINCIAL HEALTH REGULATIONS-----Limit of six tickets per household/credit card.Lineup, date, venue, times and ticket price subject to change without notice. All tickets sales are final. no exchanges, upgrades, or refunds.Any tickets purchased by suspected resellers are subject to cancellation without refund.
