La carrière d'Eagle-Eye Cherry a décollé avec le tube « Save Tonight » et il continue d'évoluer en tant qu'artiste. Son sixième album studio, *Back on Track*, sorti en 2023, reflète les influences de ses idoles adolescentes et marque un retour confiant après avoir traversé des périodes de doute.Né à Stockholm en 1968 de l'artiste Moki Cherry et du musicien de jazz Don Cherry, Eagle-Eye a grandi dans la campagne scanienne avec sa sœur Neneh. La famille a ensuite déménagé à New York, où il a fréquenté la School of Performing Arts, joué de la batterie dans divers groupes et exploré le théâtre. Après le décès de son père en 1995 et désillusionné par le métier d'acteur, il retourne en Suède pour poursuivre ses études musicales. Son premier album, *Desireless* (1997), présentait le single Save Tonight , qui a dominé les charts européens et atteint la 5e place du Billboard Hot 100.Cherry a sorti deux autres albums, *Living in the Present Future* (2000) et *Sub Rosa* (2003), suivis d'une longue tournée. Après des années de performances acharnées, il prend une pause en 2012 pour retrouver un équilibre dans sa vie. Il est revenu avec *Can't Get Enough* et a ensuite sorti *Streets of You* en 2018, qui a été nominé pour un Grammy suédois.*Back on Track* s'inspire des défis de la pandémie et d'une appréciation renouvelée pour les performances live. Influencé par l'énergie de groupes comme The Clash et Talking Heads, Eagle-Eye a créé des chansons qui mélangent son son classique avec de nouveaux arrangements et perspectives lyriques. Alors qu’il se prépare pour une prochaine tournée mondiale, il est rempli d’enthousiasme et de gratitude à l’idée de renouer avec ses fans du monde entier, ceux qui l’ont toujours soutenu et qui font de chaque représentation une expérience vraiment spéciale.
