Join the team! Reading Roller Derby is recruiting for 2026! Ever wanted to play roller derby? Now’s your chance! Our all-new 6 week Bootcamp is designed for everyone—from total beginners who’ve never put on skates, to experienced skaters looking for something new. Not interested in competing? No problem! Whether you want to be a referee (on skates) or a Non-Skating Official (NSO), there’s a place for you in our league. Bootcamp runs January 6 – February 11 (5+ weeks)!Schedule:- Tuesdays: 6:30–8:30pm- Wednesdays: 8:30–10:30pm Program cost: - Early Bird Special: $50 (register by Dec. 9) - Standard: $60 (Dec. 10–Jan. 1)- Last Chance: $70 (after Jan. 1) 💪🏽Fitness! 🎉Fun! 👯♀️Friends! All you need to bring is a helmet and mouthguard. Skates and pads provided. 💣💥💣💥💣💥💣💥💣💥💣 Women 18 & over are encouraged to register prior to December 9 to get the early bird rate. Officials Wanted! 💣 Don’t want to skate but still want to get involved? Perfect! Roller derby runs on our amazing NSOs who track stats, timing, and rules. We’ll train you and welcome you right into the action—no skating required. 💥 Want to skate but not play? We’ve got you covered! You can attend bootcamp to learn skating skills and train as a referee instead of a player. Both men and women 18+ are encouraged to join as officials.
