Mac Sabbath is an American parody heavy metal tribute band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 2014. The self-appointed founders of Drive Thru Metal, the band is primarily a parody of English heavy metal group Black Sabbath, using lyricism and imagery centered on fast food.Schizophonics bio:Over the last few years, THE SCHIZOPHONICS have built up a formidable reputation around the world as an explosive live act. Tapping into the same unstoppable combination of rock n roll energy and showmanship that fueled THE MC5 in the heyday of the Grande Ballroom, their wild live show is heavily influenced by artists like JAMES BROWN, IGGY POP, JIMI HENDRIX, LITTLE RICHARD, and THE SONICS. Singer/guitarist Pat Beers and drummer Lety Beers formed the band in San Diego in 2009 and have worked tirelessly since then, playing hundreds of shows around the globe. In 2013 they were recruited as the backing/opening band for EL VEZ, which helped the band make a name for itself in Europe. Since then, theyve played in numerous countries, and supported tours by like-minded acts like ROCKET FROM THE CRYPT, LITTLE BARRIE, THE WOGGLES and have opened for the DAMNED, DEVO, HIVES and CAGE THE ELEPHANT. Shindig magazine described their live show Like watching some insane hybrid of WAYNE KRAMER, JAMES BROWN, and the Tazmanian Devil.Descartes A Kant Bio:Descartes a Kant (DAK) returns with a new studio album titled After Destruction. Released in all physical and digital formats, this conceptual work proposes a narrative arc exploring the cycles of existential creation and destruction.After Destruction portrays psychic discomfort in a compulsively hyper-communicative but emotionally isolated society, with a retro-futuristic aesthetic, destructive guitars, synthesizers and soulful melodies. ​Lampooning contemporary emotional consumerism, the band integrates an automaton character into their lineup: The DAK, an innovative machine designed to repair emotional damage, which appears through interludes both on the album and in the live act. Looking to restore your life after a catastrophe? Turning your pain into a work of art has never been easier. ​In 2024 the band started releasing a video collection of the full album in their youtube channel, directed by Persia Campbell, and started playing shows in support of this album with two tours in Europe, one in the United States and one in Mexico, playing in festivals such as Pohoda (Slovakia), InMusic (Croatia) Aftershock (United States), Pitchfork Music Festival (Mexico), Fusion (Germany), Louder than Life (United States). In early 2025 the band will release a KEXP Live Session, and will continue touring in South America, Mexico, Europe, USA and Canada.

We are Couch Dog! We make music for dancing, crying, and kissing. Couch Dog is comprised of Max Ferrer (vocals + guitar), Tasha Lee (bass), Pablo Acosta (lead guitar), Liam Reece (drums). Originally from San Luis Obispo California, we have recently relocated to Los Angeles. Over our 4+ years as a band we have cultivated a strong local community and gained notoriety across California by playing shows all along the coast. As we grow, we have garnered a nation-wide community of listeners and community members. From performing a sold-out Fremont Theater show to 900+ people, to opening for larger acts like Sad Park/The Frights and Dayglow, to consistently playing DIY house shows, and playing the Shabang Music Festival for 3 years in a row now, we have done it all. Some of our other escapades include creating an interactive hotline for our fans to share their stories, a phone booth/photo booth that we bring to our shows, a horror/slasher themed music video, create puppets of ourselves to promote new material, and staging boxing matches in the pit during our sets. We like to have fun (and cut good records as well as throw memorable shows along the way).
