Exciting events and experiences happening this month in Watertown.
Join Taylor Leonhardt in Boston, MA on February 8 for a night of songs and stories, featuring special guest Kylie Dailey. Taylor Leonhardt is a Nashville based singer-songwriter whose Americana sound blends vivid storytelling with a striking vocal presence. Penning songs that feel both timeless and intimate, she draws inspiration from the landscapes that have shaped her—the Texas Hill Country, the mountains of North Carolina, and her current home in Tennessee. Northern Flicker, the anticipated follow-up to her 2021 release, Hold Still, is a meditation on what holds us together when life begins unraveling. In addition to her solo work, Leonhardt often writes for other artists and is a member of the folk group Paper Horses. When she’s not composing or playing shows, you'll find her cutting a path through the woods somewhere with her dog Luna. Kylie Dailey’s songs make space to take a deep breath. Her citrus-tinged melodies are an invitation to lightness, channeling some of the best human feelings: hair blown by ocean wind, passing the guitar with your best friends, sharing that hard thing with someone you love. Paired with arrangements by partner Kevin Dailey (Garden Friend), Kylie Dailey’s songs glow with personal experience filtered through musical influences ranging from American folk music to African folk melodies. 6:30pm doors 7:00pm show
