In keeping with Yuma tradition, this year's theme is “Misfit Toys”, celebrating uniqueness and inclusion by giving forgotten or unconventional characters a spotlight in neon lights. From whimsical toy soldiers marching to toy trains adorned in twinkling LED bulbs, to walking performers dressed as whimsical playthings, the parade invites everyone to rediscover joy through outcasts brought to life in luminous creativity. The judging will focus on originality, storytelling, and the expressive spirit of the “Misfit Toys” theme. Join us as we illuminate Main Street with imaginative wonder, paying tribute to Dorothy Young’s enduring legacy by embracing every toy—no matter how different—in a magical night under the desert sky.
