Romancing the Craft is a one-day event aimed toward marginalized unpublished and published romance authors which offers them programming to develop their craft, to learn from masters of the genre, and advance their careers through valuable networking opportunities with peers and other industry professionals. All tickets will be general admission tickets, giving attendees access to the following: Masterclass workshop: Universal Fantasies with Theodora Taylor Luncheon discussion: ID Scratching Romance with Ali Hazelwood and Elizabeth Stephens Keynote plenary session: Creative Conviction with Kennedy Ryan and Adriana Herrera Breakout Sessions 1: Sex and Tension with Mia Hopkins OR Editorial Process with Kerri Buckley, Acquisitions Director at Dreamscape Media Breakout Sessions 2: Culture as Character with Natalie Caña OR Writing Queer HEAs with JJ Arias and Julian Winters Free headshots by Emma Jane Photos Pitching sessions with agents and publishing staff Cocktail mixer On-site check in begins at 7am and activities begin at 8:45am. Each fast pass will allow you to jump to the front of one line during the signing sessions. You will get two fast passes, so you can jump to the front of the line twice, and they can be used on either day. The tickets to this fundraiser event are nonrefundable.
