Experience the local sports facilities at Old Centralians RFC, meet the coaches, learn new skills and develop yourself, whilst having fun, with friends and other rugby lovers. What's not to like!? Our development camps are perfect for those who are passionate about rugby and are eager to develop their skills, learn new knowledge and have a fantastic rugby-filled day! A typical one-day development camp consists of a carousel of activities, including:  Welcome & Icebreaker Activities Activation & Warm-up Games Catch and Pass  Managing the Breakdown  Contact Skills  Invasion Games  Team Challenges and Games We normally finish the day with a competition to get the participants practicing their new learned skills and to promote team celebration and camaraderie.  For every ticket purchased £5 will go directly to Old Centralians RFC as part of our community club give back scheme.  About Prima Dental Thanks to Prima Dental Group, we are able to provide these camps at a reduced price to create more opportunities for young people to experience rugby. FOR BOYS ENTERING U12 TO U15 AGE GROUPS 2025/26 Come to Kingsholm to train with Gloucester Rugby Academy coaches and experience what the next level of rugby feels like. An evening of training with experts aligned to Gloucester Rugby Academy principles is the perfect way to prepare for the 2025/26 season. Intended Outline of the Day (TBC): 17:00 - Insight into an Academy Player: How do Talented Players make it? 17:30 - Skills Training in the Indoor Training Facility 18:00 - Plyometric Training to develop Explosive Movement Potential 18:30 - Designing a personalised Individual Development Plan 19:00 - Pitch Session in Kingsholm Stadium 19:50 - Personalised Feedback with Gloucester Rugby coaches 20:00 - Depart Gloucester Rugby Experiences Our vision inspires and energises us all behind our collective goal for the future of Gloucester Rugby. Our Rugby Camps are designed to ignite a love for the game in young athletes while helping them grow both on and off the pitch. Through our expertly crafted programmes, we aim to: INSPIRE young players to set high standards for themselves and continually strive to improve. CREATE an engaging and memorable rugby experience. SUPPORT personal and athletic development through structured, age-appropriate coaching. BUILD key life skills such as leadership, resilience, and teamwork. Our camps are designed to nurture and challenge players at the appropriate stage of their rugby journey. The programme emphasises technical refinement and game-specific decision-making. Training is delivered in a competitive, high-energy environment, encouraging players to perform fundamental skills under pressure. Sessions will also incorporate strength & conditioning education, including effective warm-ups, body mechanics, and movement patterns—ensuring players are physically prepared as they move into more intense phases of their rugby development. Our camps are led by a trusted and experienced team of Gloucester Rugby coaching staff, committed to making each camp an exciting and enriching experience. All coaches hold a minimum England Rugby Coaching Award qualification and are fully DBS-checked. Every camp also includes fully qualified First Aiders and designated Safeguarding Leads to ensure a safe environment for all players. KEY INFORMATION Registration will be open at the Training Centre (access via St Catherine's Street). Registration opens at 16:45 (no earlier).
