Event Information
How It Works: All racers will compete in at least three 4-race Grand Prix sessions, with each race featuring 4 players at a time. This event is designed for players of all skill levels, whether you're racing for fun or chasing the win. We’ve replaced the single elimination format with a group-play structure during the first part of the event. Everyone will get to race in three full Grand Prix sessions. Points from those races will be submitted and tracked. After group play, the top 16 overall scorers will advance to the finals. The finals will shift into a single elimination bracket. In each round, 4 racers will compete, and the top 2 finishers will advance to the next stage. The field will narrow from Top 16, to Top 8, to the Final 4, where the best racers will battle for the trophy & cash prizes. We’ll have multiple TVs running at the same time to keep the action moving and the energy high. The final races will be called live by our Emcee so everyone can watch and cheer on the racers. ** ALL GUESTS & RACERS MUST BE 21+ OR ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT** _____________________________________________ Cup Breakdown: Group Play (All Racers): Prix 1: Mushroom Cup Prix 2: Star Cup Prix 3: Leaf Cup Finals (Top 16): Based on Mario Kart Points for Competitive Play Prix 4: ? Cup – Top 16 Prix 5: ? Cup – Top 8 Prix 6: ? Cup – Final 4 ______________________________________________ Prize Breakdown: 1st Place Winner: Mushroom Cup Tournament Trophy, $100 Cash Prize. 2nd Place Winner: $75 Cash Prize. 3rd Place Winner: $50 Cash Prize. 4th Place Winner: $25 Cash Prize. Event Schedule: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Check-In & Warm-Up Show up early to check in, grab your wristband, and get some food & beer. You'll have time to get comfortable before racing starts. 1:00 PM – 1:20 PM: Welcome & Rules Quick breakdown of how everything works. We’ll cover the gameplay format, how scoring works, and what prizes are up for grabs for competitive. 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM: Group Play Races Everyone races in three full Grand Prix sessions. We’ll have multiple projectors and TVs going at once to keep things moving. Points from all races are tracked to determine who advances. 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Live DJ Set Philly DJ spinning tracks to keep the energy up while everyone races and hangs out. 4:30 PM – 5:15 PM: Finals Top 16 racers face off in a single elimination bracket. Races will be called live by our Emcee, and the final showdown will be projected for everyone to see. 5:15 PM – 5:30 PM: Trophy Ceremony Winners will get trophies, cash, and bragging rights.
