<p style='margin-top:0cm;margin-right:0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-left:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif;'>British indie-rock band from Wigan, Greater Manchester, <strong>The Lathums</strong>, are bringing their<strong> <em>Wigan of Oz Tour</em></strong> down under for <strong>October 2025!</strong></p><p style='margin-top:0cm;margin-right:0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-left:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif;'>Honesty, hope & heartbreak feature in the poetry-laced music of The Lathums. Everything sung from the heart, four young men from an overlooked town in England’s north gathered as teenagers without ego or expectation and set about changing the lives of the people that gathered around them. </p><p style='margin-top:0cm;margin-right:0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-left:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif;'><a href="https://open.spotify.com/album/39Mj8N4ykB89bEHkl5yG9d?si=5gBN17F0T5SBocxdMhjn6g" target="_blank"><em>Matter Does Not Define</em></a> was written by the band, comprised of <strong>Alex Moore </strong>(vocals / rhythm guitar), <strong>Scott Concepcion</strong> (guitars, piano and vocals) <strong>Ryan ‘Duz’ Durrans</strong> (drums) and <strong>Matty Murphy</strong> (bass and vocals), in their native <strong>Wigan</strong> before recording at <strong>Kempston Street Studios, Liverpool</strong>. They completed their new masterpiece of equally introspective and pulse-quickening indie in the company of both good friend and old college tutor <strong>John Kettle</strong> and producer, <strong>Chris Taylor.</strong></p><p style='margin-top:0cm;margin-right:0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-left:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif;'>On the live front, The Lathums have toured with The Killers, Louis Tomlinson and played a whole run of festivals including SXSW, Glastonbury, Leeds / Reading, Neighbourhood Weekender to name a few and have had support from the likes of Brandon Flowers (The Killers), Matt Helders (Arctic Monkeys), Miles Kane, Blossoms and more.
