All seats within the Murphy Center are reserved (assigned seats) and fans are required to sit in their designated location. Bleacher seating starts at row 23 and up in all sections. Johnny Mullenax
Event Information
Johnny Mullenax, a Tulsa native, grew up in a musical family. He started playing the guitar atage 5. In his teens, he followed his family to the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas. Intypical Johnny fashion, he showed up with just aguitar and ended up sleeping in a standupbase case. At 18, he used a friends ID to get into a club where he was part of a live hip hopband backing rappers. According to Johnny, Life is too short to play one style of music, andif you have an opportunity to try something different then you should give it a shot.Claiming wide-ranging influences from AC/DC and The Ramones to John Coltrane andParliament, Johnny callshis genre bending sounda funky country bluegrass good time forworking folks.Ashley Dawn and Blank Page are opening for Johnny Mullenax
