In 2004 The Goddamn Gallows began their rough and tumble voyage and havent looked in the review mirror since. Leaving six studio albums in their path, they have been reinventing their music with every record. Spit from the heart of Americas Rust Belt, arising from a night of flophouse violence. Drifting across the states, they cementedtheir sound in Portland, OR and later in Los Angeles, CA, where they lived in abandoned buildings, squatter camps, storage units and shoebox apartments. In 2007, they left everything behind and spent the next four years living out of whatever vehicle would get them to the next town. Building upon their original sound of twanged-out, punk rock gutterbilly (Life of Sin 2004 and Gutterbillyblues 2007), they began picking up stray musicians along the way and adding to their sound; washboard, accordion, mandolin and banjo (Ghost of th Rails 2009 and 7 Devils 2011) creating a sound referred to ashobocore, gypsy-punk or americana-punk, while never being stuck in any one sound. Enter 2018 and The Goddamn Gallows have reinvented themselves once again with The Trial. From rockabilly, psychobilly and punk rock, to bluegrass and metal, The Trial infuses disparate sounds into a new strange recipe of seamless genre bendingprofundities. Chock full of impromptu antics of the shocking variety and hauntingly eclectic instrumentation, The Goddamn Gallows have made legions of fans with their legendary, live shows. The Goddamn Gallows, takes their progression of mixing punk rock, bluegrass, psychobilly, and metal to a whole new level! The Goddamn Gallowshave now partnered with Sailors Grave Records to help deliver the next chapter of their legacy to the world. The Trial begins now.

Southern Culture On The Skids has been consistently recording and touring around the world since 1983. The band (Rick Miller guitar and vocals, Mary Huff bass and vocals, Dave Hartman drums) has been playing together for over 30 years. Their musical journey has taken them from all-night North Carolina house parties to late night TV talk shows (Conan OBrien, The Tonight Show), from performing at the base of Mt. Fuji in Japan to rockin out for the inmates at North Carolina correctional facilities. Theyve shared a stage with many musical luminaries including Link Wray, Loretta Lynn, Hasil Adkins and Patti Smith. Their music has been featured in movies and TV, parodied by Weird Al, and used to sell everything from diamonds to pork sausage. In 2014 the band was honored by the Southern Folklife Collection at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill with an exhibition featuring their music and cultural contributions. Their legendary live shows are a testament to the therapeutic powers of foot-stomping, butt-shaking rock and roll and what Rolling Stone dubbed a hell raising rock and roll party.

Describing the Durham-based Hiss Golden Messengerislike trying to grasp a forgotten word: Its always onthe tip of your tongue, but hard to speak. Songwriterand bandleader M.C. Taylors music is at once familiar, yet impossible to categorize: Elements from the American songbookthe steady, churning acoustic guitar and mandolin, the gospel emotion, the eerie steel guitar tracings, the bobbing and weaving organand electric pianoprovide the bedrock for Taylors existential ruminations about parenthood, joy, hope, and lonelinessour delicate, tightrope balance of darkand lightthat offer fully engaged contemporary commentary on the present. And then theres an indescribable spirit and movement: Hiss GoldenMessengers music grooves. Theres nothing else quite like it.

Todd Day Wait is one of the last real American Workhorse, pedal to the metal, Troubadours by way of Missouri, to California, to New Orleans and now Nashville. The original material of Todd Day Wait, is highly influenced by early American folk, country and blues music from the 1920s through the 1960s, embodying the spirit and authenticity of traditional American music.Todd Day Wait, whomst you may have heard of from his millions of spins on GemsOnVHS or WesternAF writes and performs his own style of timeless country music. Harking back to Jimmie Rodgers, Willie Nelson, Wynn Stewart and Kris Kristofferson he keeps the spirit of country music alive. In 2009 he put all his earthly belongings on the curb and hit the road, in his diesel shuttle bus fueled by vegetable oil, for a never ending tour. From busking the streets of New Orleans, to playing in the shadow of European castles, to lighting up the honky-tonk dance floors in Nashville, Todd keeps it 60/50.Opening support by Rambler Kane
