<p>Hardline Media are proud to announce for his first time in Australia, the legendary, iconic, internationally influential and multi million record-selling artist, ULI JON ROTH, on his &quot;PICTURES OF DESTINY&quot; world tour. Uli will be performing a best of THE SCORPIONS set, amongst other songs from his extraordinary catalogue.</p><p>More than 50 years into his amazing career, German guitar innovator ULI JON ROTH will perform 3 shows in Australia in September. SYDNEY, ADELAIDE, MELBOURNE, get ready for a very special night of Classic Hard Rock.</p><p>Uli, of course, was an extremely important member in the history of one of the biggest selling bands of all time, THE SCORPIONS. After replacing MICHAEL SCHENKER in 1973, SCORPIONS released four studio albums during ULI&#39;s tenure as lead guitarist, main songwriter and occasional lead singer between 1974 and 1977. &nbsp;These albums include &quot;Fly To The Rainbow&quot;, &quot;In Trance&quot;, &quot;Virgin Killer&quot;, &quot;Taken By Force&quot; as well as their Gold selling double live album, &quot;Tokyo Tapes&quot;, in 1978. These albums are all heralded in the history of Rock and Metal, with &quot;Tokyo Tapes&quot; being touted as one of the greatest live albums of all time.</p><p>Since his time in THE SCORPIONS, Uli has had a very colourful career, with most of the 1980&#39;s filled up with his band ELECTRIC SUN, followed by a long line of varied projects - from G3 at Wembley Arena with JOE SATRIANI, MICHAEL SCHENKER and BRIAN MAY, to composing four symphonies, two concertos and performing with symphony orchestras throughout Europe. <p>25 years ago a group of friends formed in Adelaide, not knowing that they would forever change the face of heavy music all around the globe. <strong>I Killed The Prom Queen</strong> was not just a band instrumental in laying the foundations of the metalcore sound, but a cultural force that was critical to the creation of the pathways to success of countless other metal and hardcore bands who followed, with genre giants Parkway Drive and Bring Me The Horizon among the names that would not be the bands they are today otherwise. Over their three album run Prom Queen not only changed the game - they defined it.<br><br>In 2025 its founding members - vocalist Michael Crafter, guitarists Jona Weinhofen and Kevin Cameron, and drummer JJ Peters reunite to celebrate their formative years of their history with a set spanning the band&#39;s first decade.
