Join the Heart & Soul Drama Club's senior troupe on a magical, musical adventure. In an underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home - and her fins - behind and live in the world above. But first, she'll have to defy her father, King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she's the girl whose enchanting voice he's been seeking. Disney's The Little Mermaid JR, adapted from the Broadway production and the classic animated film, features enormously popular Academy Award-winning songs, including Part of Your World, Under the Sea, Poor Unfortunate Souls, and Kiss the Girl. Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories, The Little Mermaid JR. is an enchanting look at the sacrifices we all make for love and acceptance. Audience members of all ages will delight in this fantastic show!

Orchestra Toronto is proud to present the world premiere of Four Attributes of the Soul by Canadian composer Yefim Adler, a work that explores the soul's emotional and psychological dimensions through a vivid interplay of voices and orchestra. Featuring soprano Lauren Margison and welcoming back tenor Scott Rumble, the piece anchors a program centered on spiritual depth and inner conflict. Tchaikovsky's Manfred Symphony, based on Byron's metaphysical drama, complements the program with its brooding intensity and sweeping Romantic expression, portraying a tormented figure in search of meaning and transcendence.

Welcome to Alchemy's 'Who the F*** Am I?' Workshop We know what it is like when your sense of self crumbles every time someone gives you a piece of ‘constructive feedback’, or every time you are passed over for a role or design job. That is a hell of a roller coaster to be stuck on. Are you ready to get off the ride? In this experiential workshop you will discover new things about who you are and what you value. Then you will use those discoveries to get clear everything from how you make your art, to who you make that art with. One thing is for sure, you will walk away knowing more about the most fascinating of subjects: Yourself. The workshop experience is unique to each participant, but we feel confident that you will:Learn a framework for understanding your multifaceted identity, so that you can put feedback and rejection where it belongs. Identify the personal values that inform the priorities and decision making processes in your craft. Gain a system for taking back the parts of your artistic career that you feel you have no control over. Experiment with detangling your ego from your art so that you can make braver choices. This is for the theatre artists who have an existential crisis every time they get a rejection email, the ones who struggle to make decisions they feel confident about, and the ones who get sent on a spiral when someone gives them feedback on their art, good or bad. Artists at any point in their career are welcome, from emerging to seasoned, every artist can benefit from an opportunity to get reacquainted with themself.

When chaos looms and Western Engineering stands on the brink, six students rise as its last line of defense, they are known as the Eng-vengers. Trained to fight threats from the outside, they are ready for anything… or so they believe. But when danger seeps from within the very halls they swore to protect, trust begins to fracture and resolve is pushed to its limits. We are pleased to announce that the 2026 Gala will take place on March 7th, 2026, at the Westin, our wonderful venu sponsor. This year’s theme, The Art of Resilience, reflects the strength, courage, and creativity of our epilepsy community. About the 2026 Purple Day Gala, The Art of Resilience. Inspired by the art style called "Kintsugi” which is taking broken pottery or sculptures and fixing them with gold. It represents embracing the scars and transforming them into strength and beauty. It’s about recognizing imperfections as something not to hide. It’s a powerful metaphor for resilience and a perfect fit for the Epilepsy community. Each seizure is a reminder, like a mental scar that only we can feel, or the physical scars from injuries we sustain. Despite this, we are still living our lives, growing and embracing each new day, while creating acceptance of Epilepsy. We don't hide the fragility, or the cracks Epilepsy gives us, we embrace them, honour them and use them to show our Resilience and share it with those we meet along the way. This year’s Gala will introduce several exciting new elements to elevate the evening. Our signature event will once again bring together more than 300 leaders from the corporate, healthcare, volunteer, and philanthropic communities for an unforgettable night of connection and celebration. Guests will enjoy vibrant entertainment and a curated tasting journey of savory and sweet creations—each bite a miniature masterpiece crafted especially for our stylish soirée. Throughout the night, you’ll also have the opportunity to experience a private art show featuring works created by members of our epilepsy community. Each piece will be auctioned off at the end of the evening, with a portion of every sale going directly back to the artist. New this year, guests will be invited to take part in an interactive experience designed to bring our theme, The Art of Resilience, to life. This hands‑on element will allow attendees to contribute to a collective artistic piece that reflects the strength, creativity, and unity of our community. Entertainment will highlight incredible Maritimers who are living with epilepsy or connected to someone who is. We are thrilled to welcome performances by recording artist Quake Matthews, Maddy Frisby, Karen Williams and more. We are truly excited about this year’s Gala and delighted to share that Element Special Events is returning as our décor sponsor. We are also thrilled to welcome back Golden Dog Productions as our event planner sponsor. and Encore as our Lights and Audio Sponsor. Together, they have crafted some extraordinary plans to showcase The Art of Resilience in ways you won’t soon forget. ABOUT EAM: 2025 continued to be a year of growth and new beginnings for us at EAM. Over the last year EAM has continued to growwith increased online support groups, including Knowledge is Power and the only ALF (Accelerated Long-term Forgetting) Support group in Canada, while introducing new programs like Hobscotch and our development of a Caregivers support program. We hosted monthly support group meetings, education sessions at schools and within our communities and continued to o er patient navigation to individuals throughout the Maritime provinces. As we grow across the Maritimes, our programs are becoming more meaningful to our community. We continue to offer formal training for our Seizure First Aid and Epilepsy program that will train volunteers to lead our program in more areas across the Maritimes. We offer the PACES program which helps build skills for self-management and resilience for people living with epilepsy. We are delighted to reconnect in person with all of you and look forward to gathering to celebrate the strength and optimism of people living with epilepsy and their families at the 2026 Purple Day Gala. ABOUT PURPLE DAY: Cassidy Megan, a member of the Epilepsy Association of the Maritimes, founded Purple Day in 2008 at age 8. Motivated by her struggles with epilepsy, Cassidy’s goal is to get people talking about epilepsy in an e ort to dispel myths, reduce stigma and let those living with epilepsy know that they are not alone. Journey back in time at Ross Bay Villa Historic House Museum, a volunteer-run museum and restoration project located in Fairfield. On Saturdays at 2PM, walk down the path past heritage apple trees and beautiful gardens and step into one of only a few 1860s houses still standing in Victoria. From the bright and airy drawing room to the charming children’s bedroom, the house has been restored with extraordinary care to appear as it did when the Roscoe family called it home. Come experience a unique piece of Victoria's past, with a knowledgeable volunteer as your guide. The Gothic Revival Ross Bay Villa was built in 1865 for Victoria businessman Francis Roscoe and his wife, Anna Letitia Roscoe. Located far away from the bustling streets of the new gold rush town and a short distance from the beach at Ross Bay, the property offered a beautiful countryside home for the Roscoes’ and their growing family. Since the year 2000, the site has undergone a massive transformation through thousands of volunteer hours spent carefully returning the house to it's original appearance inside and out. Admission is $7.50 plus tax per person. Tours must be booked ahead of time. All funds support the volunteer-based Ross Bay Villa Society which owns and operates Ross Bay Villa. Drop in a little early for your Saturday tour for our Ross Bay Villa Gift Shop. This unique vintage store has handcrafted items made by volunteers, plus everything from clothing and books to fine china and unexpected treasures. Stop by between 10-2 and find something special! Please note, donations of smaller, gently used household items are gratefully accepted. Notes: If no tickets are available for your Saturday tour date, this means all tickets released have been sold. As our historic museum is best explored in small groups with a guide, we try not to overcrowd each tour. If you would still like to visit on your preferred date, please arrive shortly before 2PM and speak to a member of our Society. We will do our best to accomodate you, but your tour slot will not be guaranteed as it is dependent on if another volunteer is available to host a second tour. If so, we can accept cash or etransfer (treasurer@rossbayvila.org) for your ticket. Our historic house museum has been restored to its appearance in the 1860s-70s. Nothing is behind glass! For that reason, children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 6 are no charge. The Villa is walker and wheelchair accessible, but due to the cozy confines of this mid-Victorian house, users of larger mechanized chairs may find the interior rooms more difficult to access. If you have any accesibility needs, please email us at info@rossbayvilla.org for more information.

Pineapple Productions is excited to have back by popular demand, OFFEND-A-THON 5 - An Offence in Every Sense - featuring the distinctive original songs of two area performers - Randy Stewart and Ron Marshall. Together they plan on recreating the OFFEND-A-THON concept show they've presented to great response since 2022. People said it couldn't safely be repeated - but it's back again and even better. They've added more audience participation - and songs guaranteed to offend. Plus, this year we are introducing the official OFFEND-A-THON Peace Prize - nominations are now open. Ron Marshall is a singer/songwriter who lives in the woods outside of Havelock and claims to have no musical direction whatsoever. He writes about whatever rattles around in his empty head for a long enough time. This means you’ll hear songs about kissing neighbours, how the right car can get you into heaven, renegade mothers, hobos, danger on horseback, and more. You’ll also share Ron’s laughter at some of the circumstances surrounding the songs and other music in his life. Randy Stewart is a Canadian singer/songwriter who has been performing professionally for more than 30 years. He has been seen on television, heard on radio and recorded by the CBC. His recordings can be found in the delete bins of some of the country’s finest record stores – and his new song Buck-A-Beer is currently an 'internet sensation' on Youtube. Originally from Northwestern Ontario, he now lives in a basement apartment in Belleville, Ontario. He has been crusading for years to purge love songs from his performances. His mantra – Sad Songs & Funny Songs ‘I DON’T PLAY LOVE SONGS’ – has become familiar to music fans throughout the region. The lovelorn, lovesick and skeptical can all take refuge when Mr. Stewart takes the stage to give them something to sing about – that doesn’t wear its heart on its sleeve. “There’s a lot of performers out there singing about love and relationships – I’m just not one of ‘em” PLEASE NOTE: Advance ticket sales end at midnight on Saturday, March 7. Advance tickets are not available on the day of the event. At-the-door Tickets - if available - are $30.

Peterborough County has one of North America's richest folk-song traditions. Between 1929 and 1959, internationally recognized scholars documented more than 3,000 orally transmitted folk songs in the region. This little known piece of regional history is presented by Backwoodsmen. The group created contemporary arrangements and adapted lyrics, resulting in Cross Cut - a CD and illustrated songbook. Backwoodsmen is Al Kirby on dobro and guitar, Rob Cory on guitar and harmonica, and Rob Niezen on guitar and mandolin. Check out Ballad of Bill Dunbar LIVE at Shelter Valley Concert Series last October. Stop Smoking in One Day The Stop Smoking Guy – Live 2-Hour Hypnosis Experience If you’re over 35 and tired of trying to quit smoking…Tired of starting over…Tired of feeling disappointed in yourself… Read this carefully. You don’t need more willpower. You don’t need another patch, pill, vape, or medication. You need your mind working for you — not against you. For over 13 years, I’ve helped more than 1,500 smokers become non-smokers through live hypnosis. This is not a lecture. This is not a motivational talk. This is a focused, powerful, live hypnosis experience designed to help you walk out a non-smoker. Why Most People Fail to Quit It’s not because you’re weak. It’s because: Part of you wants to quit… Part of you still believes you need cigarettes. Part of you fears cravings. Part of you worries about weight gain. That internal conflict keeps pulling you back, making it too easy for you to once again fail. In this 2-hour workshop, we eliminate that conflict. We work on: ✔ Reducing or eliminating cravings ✔ Breaking stress triggers ✔ Removing the emotional attachment ✔ Addressing fear of weight gain ✔ Rebuilding your identity as a non-smoker When your subconscious shifts, quitting stops feeling like a battle. You don’t fight cigarettes. You simply stop wanting them. This Is For You If: You’ve tried everything and keep going back You’re afraid of intense cravings You don’t want to gain weight You’re serious about quitting You’re done negotiating with yourself If you genuinely want to stop — this can be your turning point. What Happens During the Session? You’ll be guided into a calm, relaxed state (similar to deep meditation). Hypnosis is safe and natural. You remain aware and in control the entire time. From there, we: Break the smoking pattern Remove the stress connection Strengthen your non-smoker identity Install confidence and control Most participants are surprised at how calm and manageable it feels. You don’t “try” to quit. You simply become a non-smoker. * Real Results * “For years, I struggled to quit smoking. Nothing was working, so I decided to go see Scott and see if hypnosis would work. I am happy to say I am a non-smoker and have been for two years! I never touched another cigarette after that one session and had no desire. It was the best decision I ever made! I highly recommend Scott to anyone who wants to quit smoking.” — Christine Proven Experience You Can Trust 13+ years helping smokers quit 1,500+ people helped Many five-star Google reviews You are working with one of the leading stop-smoking hypnotists in the Vancouver area. This is not guesswork. This is focused, experienced, and proven. A Direct Message to Smokers Over 35 Let’s be honest. You’ve been smoking long enough to know: It’s not “just a habit” anymore. It’s wired in. And every failed attempt hits harder than the last. At this stage of life, it’s not about looking cool. It’s about your health. Your breathing. Your energy. Your future. You don’t need another five-year plan. You need a moment where you decide: “I’m done.” This workshop is that moment. Not someday. Not next year. Not after one more stressful week. Now. If you’re still reading this, part of you is ready. Trust that part. 100% Money-Back Guarantee You take zero risk. If by the halfway break you do not feel confident this is working for you, simply request a full refund and leave. No pressure. No awkwardness. No questions. If you’re serious about quitting, I’m serious about standing behind this. Bonus Support You’ll receive FREE reinforcement audio recordings to use at home to strengthen your results and lock in your non-smoker identity. Frequently Asked Questions Is hypnosis safe? Yes. ST. PATRICK’S DAY KICK-OFF with multiple award winning MAGGIE’S WAKECeltic Tradition meets Roots Swagger Fresh off their acclaimed debut at Ireland’s premier music industry showcase, Maggie’s Wake are back on Canadian soil — and ready to hit the road again with their fiery fusion of Celtic tradition and roots swagger. These 2025 Canadian Folk Music Award winners are a “new trad” folk group creating an exciting splash in the roots music scene! Expect driving jigs and reels, soaring whistles, double fiddle, flashes of country twang not to mention Cajun/global roots twists that’s pure joy from start to finish. United in their passion for fiery tunes, soaring vocals with rich harmonies, meaningful stories and beautiful melodies, Maggie's Wake embraces their wide ranging influences and have built an exciting, new sound. The female-fronted band feature award winning songwriter and multi instrumentalist, Tara Dunphy and award winning violinist/fiddler, songwriter & composer, Lindsay Schindler, backed by the stellar musicianship of Andrew Kosty on bass and Kenneth Palmer on guitar. Dale Watson, the Texas honky tonk legend, says "You can't grow if you rip your roots out of the ground" and Maggie's Wake have taken that to heart. They are honoring tradition while forging their own path in roots music. The powerhouse quartet came together only in late 2022 and quickly began touring in Ontario, playing small halls, some festivals and theatres, which went over so well that they actually sold out many dates on their first “Spirit of the Season” holiday tour that December. Their debut, self-titled album won the 2025 Canadian Folk Music Award for ‘New Artist of the Year’, they launched a Holiday EP at the close of 2025, and they’re set to release their sophomore album in May… not bad for a band formed only a few short years ago.
