Northampton Saints/Loughborough Lightning Girls Only Full Day or Half-Day Camp @ Bedford RFC We are in the second season of the Girls Rugby Camp Programme, aiming to engage new and exisiting girls into the sport while hosting the Rugby World Cup 2025 at cinch Stadium @ Franklin's Gardens. Access to girls only rugby camps for the 2025/26 season is being supported by funding, making it easier than ever for girls to engage in rugby. This rugby camp is open to girls of all abilities, giving more girls who might be new to the sport the flexibility to try rugby. We aim to nurture and encourage young talent. Kids loving rugby is what inspires us. Through our new girls only rugby camp format we endeavour to inpire a new generation of young female athletes and fans, working with our elite women's rugby team Loughborough Lightning. The Northampton Saints/Loughborough Lightning Full Day or Half-Day Rugby Skills Camp is open to girls aged 6 - 16 years of age, in the Under 7 - Under 16 age groups (Year 2 - Year 11). The Girls Only Half-Day Rugby Skills Camp is designed to provide a short but fun experience that is open to all abilities. The morning session will focus on the basic fundamental skills in rugby, which are vital to both beginners and experienced players, whilst learning in an enjoyable and supportive environment. This session will finish at 12:30.  The Girls Only Full Day Rugby Skills camp is designed to further extend the learning experience, through additional coaching into the afternoon covering wider aspects of the game.  Girls will learn the same coaching principles that are adopted by the Loughborough Lightning and Northampton Saints Senior Squads and throughout the Saints Academy. We boast a highly reliable, friendly, and trusted team of expert rugby coaches whose primary goal is to ensure that your child leaves camp having had an unforgettable and enjoyable learning experience. All staff are minimum England Rugby Level 2 qualified or above and are subject to Enhanced DBS checks and clearances. We have fully qualified First Aiders on-site at all times, as well as identified safeguarding leads for each camp.
