Violent Delights, the debut album from UK punk collective JOOLS, ends exactly where it begins. “These violent delights have violent ends,” sings co-vocalist Kate Price on both the album opener ‘The Pleasures’ and its climactic, curtain-dropping title track. “And violently you’ll see, nobody decides it’s over for me, but me.” It’s an echo that bookends Violent Delights by deliberate, poignant design. “Those words encapsulate everything we’re saying on the album,” Price explains. “We’ve always known exactly who we are, and whatever has been thrown at us in our lives, we’ve always known where it is we’re going. Those words don’t just define the story of Violent Delights. They define JOOLS.” JOOLS – comprised of Price, co-vocalist Mitch Gordon, guitarists Chris Johnston and Callum Connachie, bassist Joe Dodd and drummer Chelsea Wrones – has been a name on the lips of clued-up fans and tastemakers since its collective of musicians found each other in the earliest days of 2023. Quickly gaining a reputation for their cathartic, unpredictable and specular live performances, the band have been consistently championed by BBC Radio One, including two ‘Tune of the Week’ placements on Daniel P Carter’s esteemed Rock Show. Recent single ‘Guts’ – the world’s first glimpse into Violent Delights – was supported by leading tastemakers at Kerrang! and DIY, the later celebrating the track as an “extravaganza of sound” from a band “who have morphed beautifully into something very special”.

This concert is a journey through the musical universe of one of the most influential songwriters of our time. Tribute to Taylor Swift presents a chamber-instrumental reinterpretation of the songs that shaped a generation — from intimate confessions to bold pop anthems, from fragile storytelling to powerful declarations of independence. Performed by Mystery Ensemble String Quartet, this programme transforms Taylor Swift’s music into a cinematic instrumental experience. Familiar melodies are reimagined through a refined chamber palette of strings — carefully crafted arrangements, subtle rhythmic textures, and rich harmonic writing — revealing new emotional layers beneath the original songs. Rather than a pop concert, this evening offers a refined musical portrait — where lyrics give way to harmony, and storytelling unfolds through sound alone. Each piece becomes part of a larger narrative about love, loss, resilience, nostalgia and reinvention. Set within an atmospheric venue, the performance is enhanced by spatial acoustics and intimate lighting, allowing the audience to experience these songs in a new, contemplative way — closer to a film score than a stadium show. This is a powerful tribute not to spectacle, but to songwriting. Duration: 60 minutes (doors open 30 minutes prior; late entry is not permitted). Doors open at least 30 minutes before the concert. Out of respect for guests and performers, late entry may not be permitted. We cannot guarantee your original seats after the concert begins. Dream Nails [Mimi Jasson, Lucy Katz, Anya Pearson] are asking different questions nowadays. They made their name with energised, empathetic, yet politically conscious punk, bursting onto the scene with their 2020 self-titled debut before signing to Marshall Records for their 2023 follow-up, Doom Loop. Those qualities are still intact, but now their lens has taken on a softer, yet no less astute, focus. They’re becoming inquisitive, they’re searching for optimism, and crucially, they’re recalibrating. Along with this, Dream Nails are operating as a trio for the first time, with bassist Mimi Jasson stepping up to take on lead vocals. Becoming a tighter-knit unit has galvanised them all over again as they searched for new avenues for their creativity. “The world that we live in is so complicated, and the old ways of trying to challenge it or make art about it aren’t working for us anymore,” says drummer Lucy Katz. “We wanted to regroup and find a new kind of creative and spiritual response to our times.” 18+
