Explore the home of the two-time European Cup champions by visiting The World Famous City Ground! If you wish to book Gift Vouchers for the Museum & Stadium Tour, please scroll down below to the "Gift Vouchers" section for more information. The Nottingham Forest Museum and Stadium Tour experience offers an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look into the City Ground - the home of one of the oldest clubs in English football. All culminating in a visit to our brand-new museum celebrating the rich history of Nottingham Forest Football Club. You'll be met by one of our expert tour guides at the Club Megastore before embarking in a 90-minute experience which starts in our brand-new Media Lounge facility. Here, you'll have the opportunity to sit in the same seat Sean Dyche sits in during Premier League press conferences. You'll then learn all there is about the history of Nottingham Forest Football Club as you hear tales from the expert tour guide whilst walking down the Boardroom Corridor. After taking photos of these celebrated moments, imagine the roar of the crowd as you view the pitch for the first time during the tour, from the best seat in the house... the Director's Box, which offers panoramic views of the entire ground. You'll then walk in the footsteps of both manager and footballer, entering the City Ground through the Player's Entrance before exploring the Away team changing room, a room that has been occupied by celebrated players both past and present. Immerse yourself in the managers matchday routine as you visit Sean's matchday office, the same place where he talks tactics with his first-team coaching staff. And then finally, visiting the Home team changing room as you have your photo taken in your favourite players seat. As the Stadium Tour ends, walk out of the tunnel and experience the world-famous City Ground the same way the likes of Morgan Gibbs-White, Ola Aina and Murillo do on a matchday. There's then your chance to take a photo pitchside or sitting in the home dugout. Lastly, you'll finish the Stadium Tour by visiting the brand new, state-of-the-art Nottingham Forest Museum, where you'll see the Club's most prized possessions including our European Cup trophies, an original green jumper belonging to Brian Clough, and a collection of match worn shirts from many our most iconic fixtures. The Museum allows you to experience the Club in a way like never before as you indulge yourself in a collection of the club’s relics that we have gathered through our formative years and as we conquered Europe. JFK aka ' Live in Leeds' Presents... The Waco Brothers got together in Chicago in the mid-90s; battle weary punk musicians who wanted nothing more than to play classic country covers for free beer in their adopted home city. Their residencies at bars like the Wrigleyville Tap and Augenblick became legendary for the sheer volume, speed and energy they brought to this task After an early & particularly deranged appearance at SXSW Rolling Stone dubbed the Wacos “Clash meets Cash” and they unleashed a fistful of ferocious albums and endlessly entertaining live gigs that defined the Insurgent Country movement. Brudenell & Please Please You Presents... THRUM return to the spotlight with the long-awaited re-release of their classic album Rifferama, arriving on 26th June 2026 on Fire Records. Rifferama recently featured in the Classic Album series of The Glasgow Herald, the record was originally recorded in San Francisco and released in 1994 featuring the indie hit singles Here I Am and So Glad. Rifferama has long been a cult favourite—an essential snapshot of the band's melodic power and emotional charge. Its renewed release marks a major moment for a group whose influence has quietly echoed through Scotland's indie landscape for decades. Originally formed in 1992 in Bellshill, Scotland. At the heart of THRUM are Monica Queen and Johnny Smillie, a partnership defined by contrast and chemistry. Queen's voice—soulful, wounded, fearless—remains one of the most distinctive in Scottish music, capable of shifting from intimate hush to soaring gospel-tinged fire. Smillie, her long-time collaborator, shapes the band's sonic backbone with his signature guitar work and production: sharp-edged, tender, and meticulously crafted. Together, they create songs that balance rawness with beauty, grit with grace. THRUM's sound threads the line between power-pop, Americana, and Glasgow's jangling indie heritage—always with an emotional directness that sets them apart. With Rifferama stepping back into circulation and a renewed hunger for the stage, THRUM are gearing up for Rifferama Revisited 7 day run of live shows in July 2026, bringing their timeless songwriting to both long-time fans and new audiences discovering them for the first time. Their performances—honest, dynamic, and richly melodic—capture everything that has made THRUM endure. THRUM are ready to bring Rifferama back to life, louder and brighter than ever.

Have Mercy blends early emo roots with modern rock to create a sound that’s unmistakably their own. With six studio albums and years of growth behind them, the band has weathered lineup changes, personal struggles, and reinvention—emerging stronger than ever. Reunited in Baltimore, Brian Swindle, Nick Woolford, Andrew Johnson, and Steve Wootteon channel that journey into their latest release, The Loneliest Place I’ve Ever Been (Rude Records). Dark yet hopeful, polished yet imperfect, the album captures a defining chapter of resilience and sobriety. Now back on the road, Have Mercy is once again proving they’re a band you don’t want to miss live.

Slam Dunk present FREE THROW plus guests Wednesday 8th July 2026 Newcastle University Students Union Doors 7pm Since forming in 2012, FREE THROW’s story has been simple: keep going. New records, longer tours, bigger rooms – it’s always been another step upward for the Nashville-based quintet, whose 2014 debut, Those Days Are Gone, has become an era-defining classic in the emo-punk genre, launching them onto global tours with Hot Mulligan and New Found Glory and slots at Slam Dunk, Riot Fest, and The Fest. Every milestone has pushed them ahead, but on their sixth LP, Moments Before The Wind (Wax Bodega), that constant charge gradually slows, suspended mid-step, mid-thought, mid-life. Recorded with longtime producer Brett Romnes on either end of the sold-out Those Days Are Gone 10-year tour, the follow-up to 2023’s Lessons That We Swear To Keep chronicles a surrealist descent into liminality: a period of intense personal upheaval colored by loss, renewal, reflection, and, ultimately, life-altering joy through the impending birth of a child. The 11-song set is disarmingly real, colored by sonic spontaneity – a swirl of Midwest emo, sweat-soaked punk fervor, and crashing alternative rock – but also the sort of achingly vulnerable lyricism fans and critics have come to expect from the band. Through it all, Moments finds Free Throw still moving, still growing, but now, perhaps more than ever, acutely aware that the path ahead is neither straight nor obvious. There’s a quiet confidence guiding them there into a brand-new era, ready for whatever the wind blows their way.

Gavin Fairhall Lever are a stunning explosion of colour in the wild and unruly garden of the London folk scene. A tangle of roots from Northern Ireland, Cornwall and Norfolk gives exuberant life to a truly contemporary folk music, full of thorns and flowers. The trio bring together the exhilarating, joyful tumble of Celtic trad, a melodic warmth, vibrant rhythmic invention, and the subtle expressivity of jazz harmony. Tunes unfold like stories, with dynamic and textured arrangements keeping the pages turning, from chapters of luminous stillness into passages of unstoppable drive. All performed with a compelling combination of fire, precision and mongrel bite. The trio have become renowned for their captivating live performances (“flawless” - FolkLondon), including at Caceres Irish Fleadh (Spain), Zilleghem Folk (Belgium), Broadstairs Folk Festival, and Celtic Connections Glasgow. Following on from the success of their debut record (“One of my top favourites of the year... Brilliant.” - RnR ****), their second album Tearing Down Walls was recorded live to tape at Analogue Catalogue Studios in Northern Ireland with Julie McLarnon (Lankum, Alasdair Roberts, Brian Eno), and released to acclaim in February 2025. “Thoroughly thrilling” - Songlines ****, “Breathtaking musicianship” - RnR ‘An exhilarating mashing together of Celtic and Eastern European traditional music and jazz harmony.. Especially thrilling.’ - Guardian ‘Their eponymous debut captur[es] the close-knit improvisational nature of their live performance...The three meld closely to work as one...circling in a perfectly balanced orbit around the tune. Their playing is nuanced as an ensemble and as soloists, rising wraithlike up through the music.’ Songlines ‘Trio music at its utmost best.. a complex and brilliant trio who turn raw ingredients from folk, jazz and more into masterpieces.’ - FolkLondon ‘The vibrant trio bring their multi-instrumental talents to an impressive collection of mostly original material that is an absolute blast to listen to. One of my top favourites of the year... Brilliant.’ RnR **** ‘GAVIN FAIRHALL LEVER’s ecstatic and adventurous music is a giddy series of tone poems; the sizzling, smoking fiddle and the insistent, questing guitar dart wild and free over a solid anchor of the double bass...razor-sharp composing and surefire musical virtuosity.’ FolkWales Known for his consistently strong collaborative work at the forefront of London’s thriving folk scene, with TEYR, The Rad Orchestra, and Jez Hellard, multi-instrumentalist James Patrick Gavin creates music that dances a line between tradition and irreverence. His work has been described as ‘High energy brilliance’ - Folk Radio UK, ‘Hugely impressive’ - fRoots, and ‘Dazzling’ - RnR Magazine. This trio showcases Gavin’s mastery of the full expressive range of the violin. ‘The sound of today’s London Irish’ - Mark Radcliffe BBC Radio 2. Adrian Lever’s clear tenor voice delivers the songs of the trio, while his seasoned and steady guitarist’s hand forms the rhythmic heart, complete with characteristic Balkan and flamenco stylings. ‘Excellent intricate guitar work’ (The Hexham Courant), ‘hauntingly subtle [and] rhythmically incisive’ (Classical Music Daily). Past collaborations include Horses Brawl, with Laura Cannell (‘Impossible to pigeonhole… a breath of fresh air’ THE TIMES ****); and Alma, with leading English fiddlers John Dipper & Emily Askew (‘Magnificent’ The Living Tradition). Tim Fairhall contributes a distinctive style on double bass, coming from a background in contemporary jazz, improv and post- classical electronica. His playing has been described as ‘First class.. rounded beauty’ (Jazz Journal). He has performed on stages as diverse as Cologne Philharmonic and Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, and with musicians ranging from Sephardic singer Yasmin Levy to the piano/laptop-led trio Piano Interrupted; he brings an improvisational alertness and sensitivity, jazz musicianship and an adventurous spirit to the trio.

A 5 day canoe and wild camping adventure through the lochs and canals of Scotland from Fort William on the west coast to Inverness on the East coast. You’ll paddle under the helpful eye of a local guide and you will wild camp along the way. You’ll get the opportunity to learn new canoe skills or consolidate what you already know. With stunning scenery, campfire cooking, myths and legends and lots of fresh Highland air, this is a very special adventure. Maximum capacity is 7 people (with 1 guide). All will travel in shared double Canadian open-topped canoes. Day 1 – Fort William to Gairlochy (10km) After meeting in Inverness we will drop you off in Fort William and then take the scenic route to Banavie, the start point of our expedition. With help from your guide, we’ll carefully pack the canoes and have a practice paddle in the canal basin. Once everyone is happy with steering a fully laden canoe we will paddle around 10km towards Gairlochy to find a remote campsite to enjoy our first night well away from the bustle of Fort William. Day 2 – Gairlochy to Loch Oich (25km)Much of the day is spent paddling the length of Loch Lochy. Hopefully the prevailing south-westerly wind is blowing and we can rig an improvised sail to speed us along. At the head of the loch we pass through Laggan Locks then paddle a two mile section of canal which takes us into the magical Loch Oich. Here we will change down a gear towards the end of the day and take our time exploring the lovely wooded bays of the loch while we look for a private and wild camping spot. Day 3 – Loch Oich to Alltsigh (24km)As we leave Loch Oich we are in for a treat. The River Oich runs side by side with the canal from here along to Fort Augustus, so we make the most of having a current to help us along for a while. Watch out for the interesting little grade 2 rapid, though! A decent lunch stop in the lovely little tourist-friendly village of Fort Augustus will give you the chance to visit a few shops for the first time on the trip and also to visit the Caledonian Canal Museum (a must see). On leaving the village we face the daunting prospect of tackling the 36km of Loch Ness. A monster loch in more ways than one. A third of the way up Loch Ness we will look for somewhere to camp for the night on the quiet Eastern shore and cook our dinner on the beach while Nessie spotting. Day 4 – Alltsigh to Dores (22km)A full day on Loch Ness today. It can get pretty tough going if there is a strong wind blowing – due to the sheer size of the loch it is possible (though rare) to get up to 3ft waves forming. Good job you are in expert hands then! In normal conditions this is a lovely leisurely paddle and we may well have time to land at the dramatic Urqhuart Castle for photo opportunities, and a look around the Historic Scotland visitor centre. In the evening we finally reach the head of the loch and find a campsite nearby. Looking back down the full length of Loch Ness, stunning sunsets are common, and celebrating our last night together and the friendships made. Day 5 – Dores to Inverness (10km)The hustle and bustle of the city looms ever closer this morning as we leave Loch Ness behind, travel through the picturesque little Loch Dochfour, negotiate the last canal lock of the journey at Dochgarroch (lots of “ochs” in this part of the world), then paddle through rolling farmland and into Inverness, Capital of the Highlands. Our finishing point is at Muirtown Locks on the edge of the city sometime round about mid day. It usually takes a while to unpack the canoes and to sort out the kit. Once this is done, we will transport you in to the town centre train station where we will leave you with a big bag of smoky, sweaty clothes and an even bigger bag of awesome memories. WHAT’S INCLUDED? Tent Waterproof jacket and trousers (if required) Inflatable sleeping mat Cutlery, mug, bowl, plate Shared double canadian canoe Paddle Buoyancy aid Waterproof barrel for personal kit Portage trolleys Food and soft drinks Sleeping Bag hire available for £20 - Sleeping Bag with a compression stuff sack (3-4 season recommended). BOOKING Please only book your travel arrangements once we have confirmed your booking. The capacity of this trip is 7 people. Minimum age 18. Maximum weight restriction of 18 stones (114kg). We need at least 4 people for this trip to run. We will let you know once this trip is confirmed. INSURANCE We appreciate that totally unforeseen events may result in a need for you to cancel. We therefore advise that you take out insurance against cancellation costs as this trip is non refundable. START POINT Meeting at 9am you will then be driven from the start point to Fort William to begin your adventure (aprox 2 hour drive). We pick up from here as transport to Inverness is often easier and cheaper and also as a back up in case the wind changes direction and we need to start the adventure in Inverness. At the end of the week you will then be dropped off back into the centre of Inverness after unpacking the canoes and sorting out your kit. Usually by 3pm but exact timings can vary. FAQs When should I book onward travel from? Not until after 5:00 PM at the earliest. Storage of Excess Luggage Should it be necessary we can store anything that you don’t need or want to take along on the expedition and return it to you when we collect you on the final day. You will decant your things into a 60-Litre barrel (about the size of an expedition rucksack), so it is best to organise your kit in a few smaller drybags that can be squeezed in, because you are unlikely to be able to fit in your rucksack or duffle-bag. Information about toilets Just in case you are wondering, you will normally have access to a proper toilet once a day on this trip, but that isn’t guaranteed. You do therefore need to come prepared to go natural when required. Tent Sharing Solo tents by default for solo travellers. You won’t be asked to share a tent with a stranger, but where possible we ask that if you are travelling with friends or family, that you share a tent. This is not essential, but sometimes it can help us squeeze into smaller, wilder campsites when we have fewer tents. Is there a weight limit? For comfort and safety reasons, unfortunately we are not able to accommodate people over 18 stone (115 kilos) on this trip. What if I need to leave the expedition earlier than planned? Occasionally, participants may need to leave an expedition earlier than planned for various reasons. Although rare, when such occasions do arise, your hosts can generally arrange for you to be collected and returned to Inverness. This is subject to being able to reach an accessible location and the availability of a vehicle and driver, so it might not be immediate. Your host reserves the right to charge £150 to collect an individual (with those travelling with them) and return them to Inverness; this extra charge covers staff time and the use of a vehicle & fuel. Your host will be happy to provide a receipt for this, should you require it for insurance claim purposes and we recommend that you take out suitable travel insurance to cover holiday cancellation costs or instances like those described above. You are more than welcome to make your own arrangements to leave if necessary, however, please be aware that this trip operates in some very remote locations, and taxis/public transport are not always readily available. Who will guide the expedition? Our expedition will be led Secret Adventures’ trusted guiding partner for the Canoe Across Scotland journey. Their experienced, qualified outdoor leaders will accompany the group throughout the adventure, ensuring expert guidance, local knowledge, and a safe, inspiring experience from start to finish.

After two sold out indie parties in 2025, the UK's biggest indie party in 17 cities, is returning to The Nightingale WOODS for another Afternoon of Indie. Old School Indie - The indie night for the over 30s are once again joining forces with Feeling Gloomy & Age Against The Machine to bring you a special 3pm-7pm Afternoon of Indie. Once again, we intend this event to be on the outdoor stage. However, as anyone who came to our June event last year will know, with the British weather, we have a contingency to bring it indoors. It might be that certain portions are inside or out, our aim is to keep you dry but have the best shindig we can, and the outside wood space is an awesome place to have a party! NEW for 2026 - the DJ music will be pumped throughout the terraced areas in the blurb, and new and improved covered areas, outside bars and toilet facilities. Feeling Gloomy & Old School Indie DJs will be playing a mix of indie classics from across the decades so whether you were an 70s punk, 80s new waver, 90s britpopper or early 00s poser they'll be something for everyone. And because the party will finish at 7pm, you'll have time to run off for a nice evening stroll, head home for a night in front of the TV, or you can just hang around at The Nightingale and have a few more drinks. The Strines Nightingale has excellent transport links from Manchester, Stockport, Sheffield and London. Check here for more travel info - https://strinesnightingale.com There is a strict door policy of no under 30s, so please bring ID as you will be asked to show it What to expect: The best in indie from: Bowie, Pulp, Clash, Jam, Cure, Joy Division, Stone Roses, Smiths, New Order, Strokes, Supergrass, Kinks, Franz Ferdinand, Nirvana, Ash, Rolling Stones, Who, Primal Scream, Killers, Sultans of Ping, Buzzcocks, Ramones, Specials, Blondie, Hole, Madness, La's, Weezer, Cardigans, Housemartins, Coral, Undertones, Inspiral Carpets, Bloc Party, Beatles, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Radiohead, Suede, Echo and The Bunnymen, Pixies plus the odd bit of rock n roll, soul, northern soul and ska!
