An iconic Saharan rock band, Tamikrest was formed in 2006 by Ousmane Ag Mossa, Cheikh Ag Tiglia, and Aghaly Ag Mohamedine in Tinzawaten, on the border between Algeria and Mali. Inspired by the musical heritage of Tinariwen, and driven by the desire to amplify the oppressed voice of the Kel Tamasheq (Tuareg) people, the group quickly made their mark. The arrival of Paul Salvagnac for their third album, Chatma (2013) reinforced the band's shift towards a more powerful rock sound. Dedicated to the struggles of women in the Sahara, the album was hailed by the specialized press as a major work of the Ishumar music genre. It was awarded a Songlines Award for Best Album of the Year in 2013. With the release of Kidal (2017) and Tamotait (2020), Tamikrest has further asserted its deep roots in Tamasheq tradition, carried by the raw energy of rock. It is above all on stage that the band's psychedelic rock, blending hypnotic trance and melody, fully reveals their power. After numerous tours across Europe, Africa, North and South America, Japan, South Korea, and Australia, Tamikrest have established themselves as a major representative of African music and the international rock scene.

The current reality Nevertel is shaping for themselves was once nothing but a dream. Jeremy Michael (Vocalist), Raul Lopez (Vocalist/Guitarist/Producer), and Alec Davis (Guitarist) first began what would become Nevertel as a project called Living Fiction in 2014. As three childhood friends from Tampa, FL, their relationship developed through afternoons spent connecting through video games as much as they did through studying songwriting. Without cosmic inspiration and persistence, Nevertel may not have happened at all. Lopez, Michael, and Davis had drifted apart since graduating high school, and the three were living in different cities and states. It wasn’t until Raul saw Linkin Park perform on their Carnivores tour that he was struck with new feelings of purpose and drive; these feelings created an opportunity to rekindle his relationships with Jeremy and Alec by making music influenced by a band the three had always loved. The distance and time apart were nothing; once Raul laid out his plan to Jeremy and Alec, it was just a matter of execution. Nevertel’s monstrous hooks and songwriting blur the lines between nu-metal, rap, and alt-rock the same way that Linkin Park did, but their subject matter and sound are entirely their own. Now,

Hang Massive returns June 2026 with their most powerful live experience yet—a soulful fusion of tribal rhythms, vibrant handpan melodies, and immersive soundscapes that ignite connection and energy. Renowned for their handpan mastery, they craft a sound ceremony that uplifts and inspires. Together, we weave an unforgettable journey—join us to co-create the magic Since 2011 Hang Massive have shaped the global handpan music scene, pioneering a successful electronic act with a magnetizing live show. Blending dream-like acoustic and upbeat electronic sounds, their unique style inspires a worldwide audience. The magic began in 2011 with their first music release and video 'Once Again', which gained wide renown and was watched over 60 million times online. Its viral success introduced people around the world to a captivating new instrument and saw the emergence of a global fan base devoted to this groundbreaking music project. The founding members, Danny Cudd and Markus Offbeat, met on the shores of Goa, India, forging their creative partnership in its vibrant international arts scene. Over the following years, the Hang Massive project evolved from busking on the streets of European cities to performing festival line-ups and high-profile music venues around the world. Today the duo split their time between their home studio in Goa and touring globally. Dedicated Dzogchen practitioners for over 10 years, Danny and Markus’ music is a direct expression of the empowerments received from their Root Guru Ziji Rinpoche, Lineage Successor of Venerable Wangdor Rimpoche (see shortmoments.com). Their committed practice has supported not only their music to flourish but also a harmonious friendship and vibrant creative partnership. Continually experimenting over the years, the duo released a wide range of hang inspired music, EPs, albums and videos in collaboration with a stellar list of producers and musicians. Divergent Promotions presents by arrangement with K2 Agency GRAMMY® Award nominated songwriter, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Wolfgang Van Halen continues to separate Mammoth from the pack. The music stands alone on a foundation anchored by his impressive sonic proficiency (across drums, bass, keys, and guitar) and airtight arena size hooks with unforgettable vocals. He harbors an irresistible signature sound, inventive vision, and incomparable identity vaunted by a fervent global fanbase. For as unique as the music is, his story so far proves to be just as unprecedented. This is arguably the first hard rock act to genuinely break out from ground zero in the 2020’s, generating north of 100 million streams, toppling charts, and selling out headline tours less than five years since its debut. Back in 2021, Mammoth’s first offering, Mammoth WVH, took flight, bowing at #12 on the Billboard 200 and capturing #1 on three Billboard charts — Top Hard Rock Albums, Top Independent Albums, and Top Rock Albums. “Distance” soared as the first of two #1 Rock Radio Hits and earned a GRAMMY® Award nomination for “Best Rock Song.” Two years later, Mammoth II only saw him pick up the pace. It debuted in the Top 5 of the Billboard Top Album Sales Chart in addition to bringing him back to #1 on the Top Hard Rock Albums Chart. It in cited widespread applause from Rolling Stone, Guitar World, GRAMMY.com, Classic Rock, American Songwriter, and KERRANG! The band canvased the globe with Metallica and Pantera and supported Foo Fighters in North America as well as filling houses on their own. They performed on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! at MusiCares 2024 gala in honor of Jon Bon Jovi, and Wolf took the stage at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame® Induction of Ozzy Osbourne. Now, Wolfgang pushes forward on Mammoth’s third full - length solo LP, The End [BMG].

Please Please You & Brudenell Presents... Alison Cotton is a London based composer, vocalist, and multi instrumentalist whose music centres on viola, harmonium, and layered vocal drones. Originally from Sunderland, she first emerged in the UK underground in bands including Saloon, The Eighteenth Day of May, and more recently, The Left Outsides before beginning her solo career in 2018. Her debut, All Is Quiet at the Ancient Theatre introduced her long form, place inspired approach to composition. This was followed with Only Darkness Now and The Portrait You Painted of Me, both acclaimed for their immersive atmospheres and emotional depth. All three albums appeared in The Quietus’ End of Year lists, with Only Darkness Now topping their New Weird Britain chart and The Portrait You Painted of Me was also Folk Record of the Month in The Guardian. In 2024, Cotton released Engelchen, a work inspired by the lives of Ida and Louise Cook and their efforts to help refugees escape Nazi Germany. The album deepened her interest in narrative composition, blending historical research with her distinctive drone based sound. Her music has received regular airplay on BBC Radio 3 and BBC 6 Music, and she has recorded sessions for Late Junction, Riley & Coe, and The New Music Show. Cotton tours widely across the UK and Europe and has appeared at festivals including Le Guess Who?, Roadburn, Krankenhaus, Supernormal and Acid Horse. Her records have been released by Rocket Recordings, Feeding Tube Records, Cardinal Fuzz, Bloxham Tapes and Clay Pipe Music. In 2025, her track “The House of the Famous Poet” was featured in David Mackenzie’s film, Relay. Cotton continues to explore drone, experimental folk, and narrative forms, establishing herself as a singular voice in contemporary experimental music."Cotton may expand folk’s raw emotions into more avant garde territories, but they still feel possessed by a blood-red muscle memory that goes back centuries". – The Guardian “The power of this music is simply awe-inspiring. When Alison Cotton plays, the world stands still.”The Quietus “Alison Cotton’s music speaks of places, people and stories not quite of this world, while orchestrating folk and drone elements meticulously, as if following an arcane ritual.”The Wire “Her exquisite voice calls to mind both the chill of the best British folk…and the psychedelic detail of Occitanian traditional song.”Uncut Magazine “Some of the most moving, powerful music you’re likely to hear this year.”NARC Magazine

Brudenell Presents... Fragments is moody, immersive, and utterly unbound. Across the album, kosmiche-inflected, hauntological electronica plays freely with melody, finding emotional resonance for our unpredictable times. Neu-esque repetitions and motorik grooves pulse beneath skewed electro textures, and occasional spoken-word passages drift in and out like transmissions from an unknown broadcast. Occasional flashes of psychedelic prog guitar cut through hazy atmospheres, edging the sound further toward Fuller’s own kind of hypnagogic pop, that is strange yet deeply human. Although this is a solo album, it’s not a solo album in the traditional sense of representing an artist’s thoughts and feelings during a particular time frame. Instead, Fuller’s album is a peek into the world of a restless creative who is always churning away. “I’m in my studio right now!” He says, “I’m making music like I always do. I have no idea who or what it’s for, like always.” This is a record that spans time as it collects fragments of Billy creating alone in his home studio over the last few years. Through listening, one gets the impression of art that sometimes has a vision in mind, and is sometimes just the product of someone enjoying the process of creating in the moment. All of these pieces have lain, forgotten and dormant, until now.

Whether playing acoustic, mandolin, national steel, or screaming electric guitar, Davy Knowles has an unmistakable style. Since bursting on to the scene with his band Back Door Slam’s critically acclaimed album ‘Roll Away’ in 2007 (“I heard the spirit of Jimi Hendrix” Patrick McDonald - Seattle Times), Davy’s star has only risen. His sophomore release ‘Coming Up For Air’ was produced by the legendary Peter Frampton (“Davy already has a recognizable style. He’s definitely the gunslinger guitarist of the 21st century,’’- Peter Frampton), with subsequent tours seeing him supporting and sharing the stage with acts such as Jeff Beck, The Who, Joe Bonamassa, Kid Rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd, George Thorogood, Brian Setzer, the Sammy Hagar-fronted supergroup Chickenfoot, and guitar hero Joe Satriani who called Davy “My favorite modern Bluesman”. Knowles has several top-5 Billboard Blues charting albums under his belt, high profile TV appearances (Jimmy Kimmel Live and CBS Good Morning America among others), and has been praised with high accolades from heroes and press alike - but it’s not just the music industry who has taken note. Knowles was also the very first artist in history to perform live to the International Space Station directly from mission control in Houston TX, and has had his music taken to the Space Station by two astronauts, Nicole Stott and Ron Garan, on their missions orbiting Earth. Never one to be satisfied or to sit still, Knowles has explored multiple genres and styles, from the hard-hitting 70’s classic rock influenced album ‘Three Miles From Avalon’, to the haunting acoustic delta blues of ‘1932’, and the sweet, soul-searching folk of 2023’s ‘If I Should Wander’. Whether spending an evening onstage armed with just an acoustic guitar, or wielding his well worn and trusty Telecaster while fronting his blues/rock trio - and at any point in between the two - Davy Knowles is a versatile and formidable songwriter and musician.

PORTSMOUTH WEDGEWOOD ROOMS The Scream’, the debut album from Siouxsie & the Banshees, was released late enough in the punk era to bear some claim as the first post-punk album. Siouxsie was clearly the focus of the band, but the sonic namo was John McKay, composer of most of the album's music and hit singles, such as ‘Hong Kong Garden’, while simultaneously creating a wholly new guitar sound that was harsh and brittle, yet melodically intoxicating. Miki Berenyi Trio, or MB3 for short, is named after its lead singer – a direct way to convey the presence of the former singer/co-guitarist of Lush, and one of the most instantly recognisable faces of the ‘90s. However, the songwriting is entirely a three-way collaboration by Miki Berenyi, KJ ‘Moose’ McKillop and Oliver Cherer.

Jim Ghedi hails from Sheffield, South Yorkshire and although clearly well versed in the history of folk music, he stands out as a potential torch bearer for a new generation of respectful yet experimental performers. Ghedi’s acclaimed new album ‘Wasteland’ (2025) sees his music develop away from previous records ‘A Hymn for Ancient Land’ (2018) & ‘In the Furrows of Common Place’ (2021). Released on the Basin Rock record label, his sound emulates a more brooding, dark and electronic world which is mirrored in his piercing lyrics and singing. He draws from social observations, contemporary songwriting, historical & traditional material. This year, Ghedi will also release his first film soundtrack for A24’s thriller The Death of Robin Hood, after being approached by director Michael Sarnoski. A dark adaptation of the 17th-century folk-tale Robin Hood's Death, the film is out in June 2026, and stars Hugh Jackman, Jodie Comer, Bill Skarsgård and more. Over the years, Ghedi has performed headline tours and festivals across the UK, Ireland and Europe, as well as supporting & touring with bands such as Lankum, Stick in the Wheel, Richard Dawson, Martin Carthy, Shirley Collins. He has also released collaborative duo records with Welsh guitarist Toby Hay released on Topic Records (2023). Praise for Wasteland: "brilliantly apocalyptic." The Guardian "Wasteland is a folk renaissance masterpiece." 9/10 The Line Of Best Fit "Tim-Buckley-meets-Richard-Thompson-at-the-end-of-the-universe vibe. Colossal." MOJO "the horrific, terrifying beauty of a collapsing planet, turned into sound." The Quietus "Yorkshire folksmith's ruminative, storm-tossed masterwork." 9/10 Uncut "Jim Ghedi’s masterpiece." KLOF "There's no contemporary singer quite like Jim Ghedi." 5/5 Songlines "an original voice with an ancient spirit." The Times "Wasteland is exactly where British folk music should be today. A masterwork." 5/5 Morning Star
