Magnolia Boulevard is a soulful rock band rooted in Appalachian grit and heart, formed in 2017 by frontwoman Maggie Noelle and keyboardist Ryan Allen. Drawing inspiration from legends like Bonnie Raitt and Susan Tedeschi, their music weaves themes of love, grief, and self-discovery into powerful anthems. The band has persevered through personal loss, a global pandemic, and new life all of which shape their raw, heartfelt sound. "All I can hope is that folks can relate to each song in their own way & can feel every ounce of love that we put into them," says Maggie. With support from PRS Guitars' Paul Reed Smith on their 2024 EP Things Are Gonna Change, and performances alongside artists like Marcus King and Blues Traveler, Magnolia Boulevard continues to rise. In 2025, they're releasing a new single each month leading up to a full-length album in the fall.

New Breed Brass Band is reshaping second line music for a new generation. Their latest release, Made In New Orleans, blends traditional brass band sounds with modern influences’ from bounce and Caribbean rhythms to No Limit Records and Silk Sonic-era R&B. Featuring guests like Jeff Coffin (Dave Matthews Band), Kango Slim, and the late 5th Ward Weebie, the album reflects the city’s deep musical roots and restless creativity. Led by Jenard Andrews, son of trumpeter James Andrews and nephew of Trombone Shorty, the band came up immersed in second line culture. It was Shorty himself who pushed them to find their own sound. “This isn’t practicing,” he told them. “You’re just jamming on some Rebirth. You’ve gotta find your own thing.” They did. And people noticed. New Breed has toured North America and Europe, opening for acts like The Fray, Dr. John, and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue. With Made In New Orleans, they carve out a voice that’s forward-looking and unmistakably their own.
