This sign-up page is for Open Mic performers ONLY. We have moved to online sign-ups for our Monday Open Mic show. In order to sign-up and participate, please add a slot to your cart when they become available at 11 AM CST. We have 18 slots open. In an effort to include as many writers as possible, we ask that participating songwriters not sign up for two consecutive Open Mic Night shows. Writers who are on the list must be at the club and have checked in with the host by 5:15pm on that Monday evening in order to perform. We will be honoring any existing Play Next Time stamps but will not be distributing any more. Please remember the following guidelines as they remain in place: Each participating writer will get the chance to play 1-2 original songs, solo or accompanied by no more than two others on stage. Drums and backing tracks are not allowed. We have a house Taylor Grand Pacific guitar and a Kawai digital piano (88-weighted keys) that are available to use. Each performer is able to bring one guest with them.Open Mic Nights are made possible by The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The RIAA recognizes the importance of The Bluebird Cafe as providing opportunities, not just to established writers and artists, but also to those who are developing their talents and their careers. More about RIAA here. Tickets for guests to attend Open Mic Night are not reserved in advance. These seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis when doors open. Please note that you may be seated with persons outside of your immediate party.

The TIME JUMPERS are an award winning Western Swing band from Nashville, Tennessee, with two awards from the Association of Western Artists, one from the Western Music Association and two Grammy nominations! This group of Nashvilles studio elite has evolved from casual jam sessions at the Grand Ole Opry to performing on the main stage, and becoming THE Monday night destination in Nashville. Their individual recording and performing credits cover virtually the entire history of country music, ranging from Slim Whitman to Carrie Underwood, and their members have recorded extensively with artists in other genres as well, from Barbra Streisand to Megadeth. Their combination of tight arrangements, soulful singers, brilliant soloists, and an irresistibly swinging rhythm section have packed their weekly performances at Nashvilles legendary Station Inn for close to ten years, drawing not only their peers, such as fellow recording musicians Glen Worf, Brent Mason, Reggie Young, Bob Moore and countless others, but an amazingly diverse array of stars, including Jimmy Dean, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Jimmy Buffet, Reba McEntire, Robert Plant, BJ Thomas, The White Stripes, Kings of Leon, Luna Halo, Norah Jones, John Rich, Robben Ford, Ronnie Dunn, Bonnie Raitt, Ronnie Milsap and Kelly Clarkson. She was born in a tiny town, and has spent most of her life in far flung parts of remote Western Australia. Tenielle had a brief stint in Sydney and Melbourne, where she was signed to Island Records/Universal Music as a secular artist, before coming to know and love Jesus in her twenties. A devoted wife and mother of three, Tenielle balances family life with her music career and theological studies. Her music, which spans devotional prayer songs and congregational worship, reflects her ongoing journey of knowing and loving God, and her experiences of life through the lens of her faith. It is both deeply personal and spiritually rich, characterized by a unique blend of simplicity and elegance. Tenielle's songwriting captures profound theological truth in a way that resonates with the timeless beauty of the Psalms. Her passion is to make music which draws people into the mystery, truth, and beauty of the gospel. With three EPs, numerous singles, and collaborations with artists such as Jon Guerra, John Van Deusen, Citizens, Young Oceans, and The Porter's Gate, Tenielle has built a notable presence in the Christian music scene. Her debut album “The Way of Love”: produced by Jon Guerra, released on July 4, 2025, and marks a significant milestone in her career. To launch the album, Neda will play two shows in her home city of Perth with John Van Deusen in July, before heading to the United States in late August, with shows in Dallas, Chicago, Nashville, and Harrisonburg. To listen and stay up to date, visit: www.tenielleneda.com. Skye Peterson is a singer-songwriter from Nashville, TN who loves Jesus and daffodils. As much as she likes answers, her music is a journal entry full of questions, stories, and doubts. Even as she wrestles and wonders, she feels an urge to sing about spring in December, light on darker days, and love during lonely weeks.  She released her first album Where The Winter Was in 2023 after studying theology in England and Kentucky. Splitting her time between touring and writing hymns for Getty Music, Skye also finished recording her second album All The Difference, which was voted “Best Christian Album” by The Gospel Coalition. During that time, Skye’s hymn “I Am Not My Own” was nominated for a Dove award, and she released many other songs for the local church while continuing to tour her solo album.  In late 2024, Skye and Addison Agen launched a new band called Fielder, an alternative-folk duo with songs that are spirited, heartfelt, and thoughtful. The full album will be released in July 2025. Alchemy Chapel’s mission is pretty simple: serve artists and guests. Of course that quickly expands to a number of adjacent goals but it all comes back to those two things at the end of the day. The shows are unique in that we have a community dinner time (bring your own dinner) where the artists and guests all eat together. After dinner, the artists get around 1.5-2 hours to play through a substantial portion of their catalog. After the show, everyone hangs out over coffee and tea, and has the opportunity to support the artists by purchasing merch if they so choose. Doing shows this way benefits artists and guests because it breaks down the separation that exists at normal shows where there is no interaction without backstage or VIP passes. It’s a time commitment as the evenings generally go from 6-10pm, but it makes for an experience you can’t get at many other concerts.
